What percentage do you use the cream cheese Icing at? I know for the NF carrot cake I will start at 5%. Oh, and I probably will just taste this. This vape is for my SIL. She also wants Red Velvet cake. LOL I never had it I looked at Wilton site and Loranns has a red velvet emulsion just like the cream cheese. ECX does not sell it. I have scratched it from the current list. I think if I can master the Carrot cake first I would feel like researching the red velvet cake.

I use it at 3-5% in my orange/cupcake mix, mainly as a backnote and sweetener. Since you want to use it more as a up front frosting like I'd expect you'd want in a cake, then I think you might want to use a bit higher probably, 5-7% would probably be better for that.

I can think of tons of recipes I plan to use it in, and I'm sure others would think of many others I'm completely missing. Maybe the thought of cheese scares people away? If that's the case I guess they've never had cream cheese frosting!
I LOVE taking real cream cheese and mixing it in with chocolate frosting! Mmmmmm, I could sit eat the whole tub and then the cake would be frosting-less!

I will have to wait and buy it from Amazon. However, they sell it in 4 ounces. I don't know if I want that much.....I will continue my search. I think it has a red dye. I don't know if I want to vape a red dye. I will have to investigate the dye properties.

Ya Sdh, I went to their page earlier when I posted that about the dyes, such a bummer! I bet it we were vendors we might be able to get them to make some without the dye, but we'd probably have to buy 100 gallons or something crazy like that.
Well I know red velvet flavor is mainly a chocolate flavor like German chocolate cake flavor, and then the red dye. Maybe we can find a German chocolate flavoring that's dye free?
