OK, but I say, patooey to a year old juice myself,,,, I dony keep anything more then 7-9 months myself, it taste funky to me Salem compared to that same juice freshly made.

LOL, MW, I don't even keep my juice that long unless it is made with FA flavoring. The coolest part about DIY is that we can all have it our own way

I have some mixes that are 5-6 months old and they taste the same as when first steeped. No flavor loss at all. I just taste test some flavors here an there.

Right, me too. Thats why I am really wondering if the issue with the ones that I had mixed may just be the nic. It seems to be overpowering the flavors.

It might Salem. You know I tried some BE nic after taste testing RTS and ECx nic. I cannot go back to the bitter/peppery taste ever. I had to try it to see if it was the same or different. I suppose the BE nic will be used as organic bug killer. I am thinking squash bugs...LOL I am serious. I do have to be careful with using it as a bug killer. I love my bees and birds and have to keep the environment in check. I am thinking that I have failed numerous diy experiments because of the quality of nic. I recently used ecx nicotine and it blends well for my mixes.

I do have to say last nights experiment went wrong. I tried my mix in my atty and ended up having to soak out the wet ashtray taste. So I probably won't be using the flavor apprentice Tobacco extract any time soon. I wasted 20ml of nicotine base but it can be re-used. I throw nothing away. Squash bugs....

See, that peppery taste/smell that you get tastes like an old moldy rag smells to me lol I see people say peppery about BE and MFS but it has always been something moldy and stale tasting to me.
I know that RTS has made a huge difference in my mixes. Good PG and VG make all the difference in the world too IMO

See, so when I was using the moldy tasting nic along with the dirty feet VG, no wonder why everything tasted like crap lol But, I always knew it was the base.

Even as a heavy smoker I was blessed or cursed with a keen sense of taste and smell.

I had no hope for the ce3's anyways. I should just be saving that money for a rebuildable atty. Oh ye, didn't you make a ~ce3 mod you posted in the GV forums?

About that, do you have a tube cutter or a pipe cutter? I got a pipe cutter and it gets it started but I have to finish it with a utility knife. No biggie, but wondering =)

DL you know with some discussion we do tend to go off topic. Especially since we have to wait for this shipment of flavorings. I traded with someone and I am the proud owner of TE Marb and TE 555. This time I am letting it steep for a week. I am finally figuring that steeping helps with the tobaccos. The cigar I mixed with grape was good to go the next day. I may need to lower my nic level even more. I feel comfortable now at 24mg but may need to drop in 2mg increments.

I used to be exactly like you when I was newish. Now, I just don't care lol J/K!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I know that everyone has different tastes so what you love, I may not. It is the same with hardware. We are all just so different. But, I do still hold my breath when someone spends money on something based on my like of it.

You got a crappy one like I got I have a tube cutter that I got from an off the wall hardware store in the town I live in. My friend got hers from Sears, paid about the same and hers is much better. Mine cuts a little jagged. I have to file them down.

I agree and use the better VG myself, it makes a difference to me as well Salem, but so does the Nic to me also, nothing like the good RTS Nic, its just clean clean clean tasting to me.
