I made some Hangsen RY4 @ 3% for a friend and he said it needs something. I don't vape Tobacco's and it was hard for me to pin down what he wants he finally said it needs to be sweeter. Does anyone have an idea of what would go really well with the Hangsen RY4
You could add 1-2% of EM.
Ethyl Maltol | ecigExpress and or use some MTS from Flavorart at 1% Flavor Enhancer for e-Liquid | ecigExpress
The MTS will add more depth and the EM will sweeten without being sickly sweet.

It looks like you only used 3% so I would start out with the EM at 0.5% and work upward.

Mixed some Hangsen Watermelon today at 3%. Seemed weak so made it 6%. Strangely, flavor didn't increase. Just picked up a chemical overtone. Tried adding some EM but it altered the flavor too much. Tasted more like cracker than watermelon. Man I'm sucking at diy.

Mixed some Hangsen Orange at 3% and it tasted ok. Kinda like an orange crush soda.

First flavorings I've purchased in a long time since a boatload of capella and I'm underwhelmed.

I know Jimi D has been in this thread since I started it. He has been an asset to the community. No one has ever been turned down on diy assistance.

Agreed!! There a a LOT of helpful folks here and Jimi D has been the most helpful to me personally. And you, sdh, are not far behind.

I'm used to the SC flavors and what I used, realcig, I didn't need to worry about steeping. But, I believe (I think Jimi said above somewhere:)), you want to give it at least a day or two steep time. Might want to try this before changing it up. Mix some more and let it, and the one with EM, sit (with a good shake every now and then) for a few days. Then try again. Let's us know.

LOL you are so right! :) Anyone try Capellas flavoring? I am just wondering if its just me. I find it very heavy on the lungs. I suppose I am not use to a lesser concentrate. It is a very weak flavor. I only bought the flavors for SIL but still have to taste test. The flavor is good at 10% but hurts my lungs. I cannot imagine vaping higher % of flavorings.
Got my Capella flavors today. The aroma seems strong enough to start at 5% or maybe even less. I think I'm gonna try the Blueberry Crumble at 3%

The Red Hot Candy has no taste of clove. That's a winner ! Crap!!! Scratch that ! I taste some clove as I'm vaping it now..Will I ever find a true cinnamon taste !?

I just tried the vanilla cupcake. Not bad for a vanilla flavor. I suppose I am not into the fluffy flavors. I enjoy the tobacco with different flavor notes. I need to remix some carrot cake/with icing.

I had my first crash on my laptop last night. I thought it was going to be a trip to Best Buy. LOL I figured out how to get the computer to diagnose itself. I wish I could use those phones for surfing...I tried my hubs I phone an it is too small.

Jimi are you adding any sweetener to your capellas?

Yeah, I'm not into the fluffy flavors either. My Wife is LOL So I better start the Blueberry at 5%. I don't add any sweeteners to Capella. Ethyl Maltol is all we can handle, but changes the taste a lot. Sucralose makes us both nauseous.

Glad you got it working again. I'm blessed, both of my boys work at Radio Shack.

I just received the Hangsen Hot Cinnamon and stuck my finger in it and tasted it was just okay with a funky aftertaste. I also got the regular TFA Cinnamon and stuck my finger in it and it hit me in the back of my head I don't think I'll be able to taste anything for awhile. It was nice and Sweet with a Cinnamon Bam!

Although I've experimented quite a bit with EM, none of my final recipes have any of it in it. Sometimes it changes the flavor a lot, sometimes it dilutes the flavor. Meanwhile not adding much sweetness.

I'm going to start over with the Hangsen watermelon alone. The EM just doesn't seem to get along with it.
