Right. I remember when we were kids my mom would have the same flavorings throughout our whole childhood, lol.

I remember when my mom passed I swear she still had some flavoring in her cabinets from when I was a kid. She was a flavoring queen. I was always amazed at the mass quantities of flavorings she had. If she could see me now with all my flavorings. :)

IDK. If I were going to pay say $2.50 -$3 for a 5ml or $3.99 for a 10 ml, I personally would buy the 10 ml. I am sure that linnx will have to charge more just to compensate for the labor involved in making the 5mls and the PITA factor lol

Me too salem. Best value whether I use it or not........ If I don't, does that still make it the best value!

TE fans, question for you

ECX french pipe and cigar

The flavor bottles smell the same, look the same...

I have french pipe mixed at 8ish% (realized I had made a miscalculation) at 18 nic, and the cigar mixed at 5% 27 nic

At first I was thinking: They taste the same, but the cigar is less sweet, more mild, more dry...fair enough.

Now I'm looking at the % and the nic difference (loads of TH can obscure certain things, even if its not a flavor) I'm concerned there actually the same flavor ....bottling mistake?

To me the French Pipe and the Cigar were different. I went right through the FP and made a 2nd. I do not have any at the moment to try as passed on to my son trying to find something for him other than just the ready made DK-Havana. (no luck) To me the cigar wasn't as rich and strong as the FP. As you said the cigar being less sweet, more mild and dryer. Mixed at 3% with 20mg nic 50/50.

Oh ok....I knew that you kinda thought they were the same also.

I was wanting to experiment with the higher flavor %'s that Cyrus does, but then I remembered that with 5% RY4 I was getting a perfume/chemical taste. My son said he was getting it with several and it was the only one that I gave him that was over 3%. So many variables--base mix, equipment, taste buds, smell, etc!!!!!!

Edit: I don't know what I was thinking. I just dbl ck and the RY4 was at 3% not 5%. Some were good at 2% for me.....

Man I have my cigar at 7%, french pipe at 8.3 and RY4 at 5% :)

Now I have to say, the cigar is actually a bit more sweet to me, but still essentially the same vape. there is a difference, but its subtle. maybe its more obvious with time, or more obvious at lower percentages. Not a big deal, as I love them "both" but its still funny. Especially because cigar tastes nothing like a cigar lol.

I started an ECX review thread as well. Its going to be thin for now as I won't be getting any new flavors for a while.

NOT LOL

Is this like my sitting on my hands instead of mixing til I vape some I already have!

My not being able to taste/smell most vendor e-liquids was one of the reasons why I decided to diy, so that I might increase flavor. I really do want to try the higher %'s since you seem to be doing so with different perception of the flavor at different %'s to achieve the optimum vape. It takes a community!!!!!

Good to hear you got a vape worthy of making a full-sized batch. I was starting to worry about you =)

I just got the big order in last night at 10PM, mixed up 11 small tasters and off I went. My first two orders really should have been larger than they were, 4 tobaccos at first followed by an order with a caramel, vanilla, whiskey, cream, and coffee lol. I was all over the place on those first 2. Still, I have success!

Now I keep looking at the 10 bottles of juice I have remaining from suppliers and I cant help but think I can do better, for my pallet, than what they did...all in good time of course, but still I'm pretty pleased with this journey into DIY that I've taken.

20 Concentrates now.

7 Cream Flavors, 4 tobaccos, 3 coffees, 3 caramels, and 3 whiskeys...and one juice down.
