RTS is indeed good. =) I am likeing ECX as well. For me it will come down to convenience and price.

How long do you let tobacco sit in liquid until filtering and using? Also does anyone know if you can buy resistance wire for atty's locally?

this seller often has wire at good price, local may be harder to find.

I haven't had this problem yet, is it a nic problem, or PG/VG thing?

I know it's been gone over, but yes, it's a nicotine thing. I did want to clear up something I misspoke on though: saying that it was the USP monograph that described the odor. It does not. Instead the descriptions I was getting actually comes from MSDS for L-Nicotine (54-11-5) where it says either "Slight fish odor when warm" or "Fish (slight)" under Physical Characteristics/Odor. A fair amount of nicotine on the market has this signature smell/taste, but some others have a different taste or very-little-to-no perceptible taste. I'm not sure exactly how to describe the "other" taste of some nic (I have previously used the term(s) "earthy/dirt" but that doesn't seem quite right either), but it's certainly not the same as the fishy one to me. If you don't taste anything most would say that's a good thing. The ones with a good amount of fishy to them (as LM is experiencing) tend to take over flavors the longer they sit after mixing. At lower nic levels you'd be less apt to smell/taste this, but if your base is, say, 36mg or higher you'll probably be able to at least smell it there if it's so-afflicted nic juice.

I also don't recall the 60,000,000,000$$ man having the best sense of smell/taste, but I could be wrong. :p (avatar reference for anyone that just went "huh?")

LM - sorry to have "helped" in converting your pepper into fish :(

I'm not sure if you already have heard about it or tried it, but when it comes to tobacco then nobody beats this guys The Finest eLiquid Brands Worldwide , all El Toro's are just fantastic, each in it's own way. Eden I only vape as it is (tho, I thin it a bit, for my DSE901), Cigarrilos I both vape as it is but I also use it in my "premium" nicotine-bases often along with Puros which I also both vape as it is and use in my "premium" nicotine-bases often along with Cigarrilo...

I ONLY recommend atty's ONLY!! DSE901 LR at about 6-7 watt, tho needs a bit thinning in my opinion. Aside from DSE I've only tried Eden on Cisco 10+watt, it's just so fantastic w/o any thinning but feels like waste somehow,,,

I buy these pre-mixed organic e-juices because they taste so delicate, hard to explain how other then say that it feels like real "ideal" tobacco "smoke". Th both on the inhale and the exhale (like the real ...), first time I've tried it it awoke distant tobacco memories from the past.

It also "hits" differently, some are talking about "alkaloids" of some special sort that are only found in "real tobacco", tho I personally doubt that it's anything else then naturally occurring ammonia, that has accumulated during the drying/fermentation process..

They have a free shipping option all around the world & they sell samples!! My first order was: 5 samples (5 x 10ml) + free shipping = aprox. 30$

Thanks Killovicz, the site you furnish looks interesting. Might give it a try. Always searching for that special juice.

Ok where do I find these at? No I have never heard of them but always willing to try something new.

FWIW, experiments with the black sesame so far haven't been all that great. It does show some promise with a pseudo-smoky quality which isn't bad, but I think that to just get the hint of that without it smacking you in the face with a fist full of sesame will take a very light touch.

I'm still trying to figure it out, but if you do try that one, start very very low - i.e. 1 drop per 10ml MAX, or probably even better to cut it to 10% before trying to mix with it.

I think I'm going to try extraction first. I love a certain brand of cigar and if I could extract it with positive results I will be more than happy. Thanks for the ideas though.

Im not really sure I am looking for that smokiness other than a really good tasting cigar. I am really playing around the idea of extracting a cigar but have never done that yet. One Cigar I think that can become an incredible vape flavor is the Acid brand of Cigars. They are that Cognac dipped flavor and I love them so any ideas for extracting this would be welcomed. I dont want to derail this thread more than it already has so you can PM me as well. I really appreciate any info on processes on this.

My favorite vendor e-liquid to date was Blondie Cigar. Looking forward to your extraction report.....

Yes this was the Blondie (Acid) Cigar....I loved it in the e-liquid.

Which Acid Cigar are you referring too? Description almost sounds like Blondie, but not sure since I haven't had any cognac.

The Acid Blondies is exactly what I am going to use for this extraction. Blondies are just the smaller version of them.I just used Cognac as a reference to the sweet dipped flavor. I actually have no clue what it is but the flavor from the Acid cigars is fantastic.

Got home late from work, and thankfully my EPDCCs are in my mail with my shorty adapters! The adapters are too shorty, so I need to use 2 of them or an extension I already had lol, but they're still the best carto I've ever used at 3.7 volts, why have I waited so long to order these? They hit like a freight train on my red oak 26650 mod, now I wish I would have ordered more than 5 lol.

Oh man :( The shorty works great on the Buzz but the Buzz connector is slightly elevated.

If you want more, they are 10% off now :)

It would look great on my boxes if I just left the connector raised without the huge drip wells lol, but they looked so good with those drip wells that I just couldn't say no...that and I don't have to worry about messy mods

My BP has a pretty nice drip well too but the connector is still elevated :)

A person that ran the coop that I told you I got a bunch of those cartos from claimed that they are available with no skirt. I was afraid to try them because DH did not like the Ego Megas at all. I did not want to order 25 and find out that the skirt was not the only difference.
