Awe, debb. I am so sorry to hear that you had this too It must be pretty wide spread. Jimi had it in Fl, you in NJ, all across SC. It was the worst illness that I have experienced in years.

I hope that you are better now. I still have low grade fever, cough, but am improving.

better now....but the coughing fits are still around, then I can't breath...my nebulizer was a godsend....weird thing tho, when I started to feel better, I got chills something awful...(and I suffer from hot flashes..lol)..I would shake so bad chilled to the bone for about an hour and a half...then back to sweating...strange....but anyhow I am glad you are nearing the end..

btw...licorice is pretty good...thought it would be blk licorice....but it's red..pretty tasty...still messing with %'s tho..

breath freshener is good...I make it on the lite side....

still deciding on the dk plum..

It does but you know what I am wondering? I, like many others (especially high risk) are getting Flu shots in Oct/Nov. So, this is about the time the effects of the shot would be wearing off.

I went to the store about 2.5 weeks ago. I grabbed a cart wipe and went to take a buggy from a lady returning it. She said "good idea, I am just getting over the flu." I thought that she might have just been sick and was calling it the flu. Now, I wonder.

I have told everyone from the start that the symptoms are exactly like the flu. It is/was horrible.

Worst part is that I took my allergy shots and started getting sick the same night. I feel sure that compounded it.

When I get coughs and colds, I am supposed to cough/sneeze into a brown paper bag. I do that as much as possible but he looks to be getting this. Trust me, I will load him up in the car and get him to the doc if his cough gets any worse then it is. It is dry and hacking right now and not constant.

True, but for high risk patients and their caregivers, it can be a matter of life and death very quickly.

My mother or my DH would not survive a serious case of the flu and there is no doubt about that. Not worth the risk of not getting it.

BTW- I like Breath Freshner too. It surprised me. Fran may like that one better than doublemint. I had forgotten about that one.
