Its been a weird weather pattern in this state. Mild winter/hot summer/no rain. I feel like I am living in the Ozarks....like SW Missouri (lived in Ozark, MO.) Maybe this is what Texas feels like in summer. :) Anyway, our temps are dropping tomorrow back in the 80's. I think I will wait a few more days before ordering. Last year I ordered some flavoring from GP and it was 95 degrees. I could smell that nasty DK tobacco from my front porch. I had to keep it in a closet downstairs for weeks before even thinking of using it. BTW it ended being re-homed...nasty flavor.
I've met a Geologist a few months ago. He told me that he believes the World is going into another Ice Age.

Hopefully my alcohol based flavors will be fine in the heat. My last order last week, took 6 days to get here. They were fine. Hopefully USPS will this time have them here Monday.

Off topic but thought some of you diy'ers may know...Where can I purchase some cotton wick and Stainless steel mesh. I need a very small amount. I want to make a wick for a I-mist. Any help would be appreciated. I know I can buy the wicks.

I just ordered this for cotton wick as RockinRobbie/Estarra recommended it and should be here Monday.

It is 100% natural cotton, unprimed and lead-free so should work like a charm after a initial boil. Hard to beat $8 shipped for 10 yards and no fuss.

The mesh if you have not already ordered it I got off ebay as there is a person that sells different sizes and I just got a 6"x6" sheet just to try out for like $6 shipped last year just search WOVEN WIRE MESH STAINLESS STEEL 400 MESH and it should bring them all up.

I was gonna build a gen/zen style atty but just recently decided that for me I am just gonna make a cotton wick rebuildible with a ss wrap under the coil. Kinda a meet in the middle option between the two that should work just fine for my needs.

LOL the ginseng is traveling to its new owner. (Charliegirl) I did package in three zip-lock bags. I could still smell the ginseng in the car. Its 104 degrees on my deck. In my car which has a black interior it reached over 120 degrees. I put my tube in my thermos while shopping today. Of course I have ice packs so it did not overheat or get too cold.

I went to PO first because I didn't want the flavoring to sit in a hot car.

You are so awesome and thank you so much!!! It came today! I remember you saying it would probably come on Saturday and we were supposed to go out this aft. but I opted to stay home hoping for a delivery so they didn't sit in the sun until be got home! Glad I did! I think I may have to call and complain because everything we get delivered that is supposed to be signed for ends up in the mailbox or on the porch! Really ticks me off! Anyway, as soon as they came and were safely inside, I had to leave and just returned, so haven't had a chance to write you until now. You were more than generous, bless your heart! I know I am gonna have a ball mixing with them! I'll let you know what I create as I do...it may be a while since I have the little grandkids for a few more days, but ASAP I guarantee!!! I'll PM you more so I don't hog up all the space here with a big novelette! I can't thank you enough though, it is so touching how kind you are!

It is good they arrived safely. You know how usps can smash things. I am sure there's a flavor you might enjoy. Like Ginseng! :)You are very welcome.

Hey SDH you said the migua tastes like honeydew right? You still like it? I tried the "melon" but it was to cantaloupe to me as honeydew was what I was after. Kinda looking for a refreshing type of flavor like honeydew or honeysuckle and the VZ honeysuckle didnt do it for me as it tastes like vaping my grandmas old little mini flower soaps she has in the bathroom.

Is it perfumey at all? Thanks in advance.

linnx told me that the Migua is indeed the Honeydew :)

Ok I tried the migua today. A light cool refreshing melon taste with sweetness. Some of you know how I don't care for fluffy flavors. This one is good. I don't have anything else to compare it to. However, it will be a occasional vape since I prefer tobacco/cigar flavors.

Cool thanks. Just wanted to get a update and see if she still likes it or if it is perfumey at all. My tolerance for flowery/perfumey vapes these days are slim and none hehe.

Was gonna order some nic and grapefruit friday but as always that turned into me deciding to buy more flavors I probably do not need as I have about 20 here I still have not messed with at all besides a 5ml test batches.

Jimi got me wanted to try that hangsen essence pipe and I also eyed more flavor express like cola and black and milk. Might also try that bitter wizard on a few of these as I have seen it come up a few times.

To many choices. I am trying to find a couple more flavors to unseat my 3 goto's french pipe, pina colada and B&M(all FE/TE).

LOL, it is the way this stuff goes. We have to have at least 10 times the amount of flavoring that we could ever possibly use :D I look at it like at least I am not hooked on Mods and having to have every one of those that I see. It could always be worse.

I can't do overly sweet/perfume flavors either. I have found that adding just a little bit of a bitter flavor counteracts that sweetness without even really needing to taste the bitter flavor.. You could use Bitter Wizard but i prefer to stick with other flavors.

I am hooked on mods to thats my issue. Not ones people sell but ones I build myself so I have a table full of reg's, connectors, resistors, etc, etc. I nickle and dime myself to death on it. Truth is I could have probably gotten a provari with all the bits and pieces I buy here and there to try stuff out.

At the end of the day though its nice to be able to make them the way I want them.

The migua does taste like a honeydew melon. I don't smell perfume at all. The smell is surprisely good. It does taste sweet like a melon. It is not a all day vape for me. It would be an occassional since I really only enjoy tobacco mixes.

The only flavor I still have not tried after months is the FE vanilla. It is still sitting waiting for me to mix it. :)

Yes but, I bet much like making our own juice it is very satisfying to make your own mods rather than buy the mods from others.

And that is probably the one that you will like best with your tobaccos. lol

I've limited experience with that (adding Vanilla to Tob) but here it is anyway. It's already been mentioned many times that adding FE flavors to tobaccos can easily overwhelm them. I hadn't known though this may also apply to the Vanilla. It's only day two for this mix, but (in 10ml) I have 10 drips VZ Honey Flu Cured (TE ?? dunno), 1 drop Black Berry, 1 drop Vanilla. I was surprised (note I am still relatively new to DIY) to have no difficulty picking out both of those individual drops - especially the BB; Man, that one's got powerful masking!

I'll wait another day or two (though it will try my patience), but then I may add just one more drop of vanilla because I do like where it's going. I would just go ahead and add another drop now, but in an earlier mix of just it and BB, the vanilla took at least a few days to really stand up against BB.

Next time I make a straight BB I'll have to try adding/testing one drop at a time in 10ml. I'd previously started around 2.5% and went UP, but something tells me it might be interesting at very low levels. Quite possibly, it might even make it taste more real-fruit-like to me.
