Has anyone tried the Essence Pipe? I'm finding that while many tobacco's have similar tastes the Black Mile is unique and so is this Pipe. I let it steep 30 days before trying and now I'm trying to figure out how much I like it. I'm going to have hubby try it today.

Hi everyone I've been lurking a few days. Our wonderful Fran told me about this thread, as I plan to begin learning to DIY when September gets here. Gotta wait for payday LOL.
I'm trying to plan a first order, and the biggest question on my mind right now is ... storage? I know buying the nic base and plain or mixed vg/pg is the most economical, but not sure how long it stays good.
How do you all store? Nic base? plain or mixed vg/pg?

Hiya Kat. I store the bottle of nic I'm using in the fridge. Extra bottles go in the freezer. No worries about spoiling. I'm using some year old nic base right now. Pg/vg are fine in the coolest place you have. You can really just leave it out unless you have a large amount.

It's been said two years but people have used older.
I love my sweets but don't do a lot of sweet juices....just not the same!

Bov doesn't do tobacco either and she likes the Black Mile. I bet you would too. It does not taste like a tobacco.
I tanked it up this morning Fran, and I'm still digging the Black Mile. I do get the tobacco, along with the chocolate and a smooth almost creamy flavor. I'm going to have to add this flavor to my wish list

Night Frannie! And I'm actually loving this so far!! I just didn't have an empty tank to put it in and was too lazy to dump and clean one.

I'm confused..is black mile different from black and mild or am I mixing them up? Cuz I'm not a tobacco lover myself and I do like the black and mild! Hi jj! Good to see you here too!
Fran, it's the one I said I thought tasted like chocolate but you didn't get that, right? But which is which?

Charlie, depending on what voltage I'm playing with, I do get the chocolate, and the sniff test out of the bottle definitely smells chocolatey!
Jj, my main Caramel is Natures Flavors Caramel Cream mixed at 20%, with an extra couple of drops of Flavour Art caramel and a couple drops of condensed milk. Those extra drops are in a 15ml batch.
My staple that has evolved over the past months is a recipe from Salem and Pokey that I've adjusted to my *in yo face* preference
For 15ml batch...
1ml mostly NF caramel cream, and a few drops of FA caramel to make the 2 = 1ml (FA caramel gums up my cartos so that's why I combine the 2)
1ml FA coconut
.5ml Signature White Chocolate
.5ml FA condensed milk
about 6 drops FA Cookie

Your mixes sound so good Bov and I know I can't vape them. Oh well at least I've found what works for me. Sometimes I crave a drop of sweetener in my mix, usually with my Hazelnut coffee. What do you think is the best thing to use for sweetener? I do have EM.
I don't use any sweeteners at all Fran. The white chocolate acts as a sweetener in my Cookie recipe above. I've tried the stevia and I think sucrolose and both left that nasty, diet soda sweetener taste in my mouth.
