Fran, you may need to bump up the percentage on the Oba Oba. I used to mix the Hypnotic Mist at 20% (I hear Jimi screaming!!) but I did enjoy it. FA has been my favorite flavors pretty much the last 2 years. Also keep in mind that I still smoke about 5 to 10 cigs a day so my buds are not as smart as they could be...nor am I LOL!
For the Natures Flavors that I use, I evap the alcohol out by pouring the flavoring in a shallow bowl, nuke for 30 seconds and then let it cool before re bottling it. the shallow bowl gives it more surface area to heat evap the alcohol.

Bov I haven't had a smoke in over 2 years and my buds are still crappy. Probably more picky than crappy in some instances.
LOL That's funny Bov. Everyone is different. I pick up notes very well. I quit smoking 4 years ago. Switched to Snus for 2 years, and then went to E cigs on July 2010. So it's most likely me.
Fran, Make the Oba Oba in 3ml samples. One at 2%, 5% and 20%. I would love to hear the results.
Jimi that is such a pain................but maybe.......you know I hate those stupid little 3ml bottles.
Try this instead. Make some sweetened water 100ml, and add 5 drops of Oba Oba.

I have it mixed at 10% with little taste. Going to add flavor and try again later.
I am really interested in the Zen garden too! I really wish FA would be a little more eloquent in their darn flavor descriptions! "The funniest flavor of them all!" Uh, hello? I think that was Reggae night or something? I would really like something a little more descriptive before I scrape up my pennies for it, ya know? If I had money to be frivolous with I would just go ahead and get a boatload of them cuz they all seem good. The only one I've gotten so far that I was really disappointed with was concord grape. Unless I am doing something terribly wrong, it is a big fail. Even a bottle sniff is a no go. Very disappointing. I LOVE FE's grape on the other hand. It reminds me of Welches grape juice right out of the bottle, yum yum. I better order soon cuz it is almost gone!

I'm on a very tight budget as well and the extent of my experimentation is usually limited to samples sent from this generous group we have right here!!
I'm still not digging many of the fruits, they start out ok, but I end up not being able to vape them for more than an hour. I either get a nasty aftertaste, or in the case of citrus, my mouth and tongue get raw feeling. Same thing happens if I drink citrus juices like orange or grapefruit juice.
The one fruit that I have fallen in love with is the FE Blackberry mixed with my usual staple Caramel Cream!
One of the next flavors I want to try is Hazelnut and try mixing it with the FA Cappu that Jimi recommends.
