I swear I have a cart filled with FA flavors I want and thats around $80 !! Right now Im doing tobaccos and really enjoying them. For grape I agree the FE is really good but TPA isnt bad at all just tastes like grape Koolaid. However I want to do a caramel apples type vape and something peppermint for xmas. How is the FA caramel, apple and peppermint?

Fran do a search for extraction there are a ton of threads about this. I would link one but there are several that are very good. Usually with the high reply count are good posts to start with.

Aggghhh I knew I forgot something else on my order. FA Apple. I have the FA Caramel. It's the best tasting caramel I've ever had. I can't believe I forgot the apple!

Fran, PM Salem...she's one of the experts on coffee extraction :)

I love FA's caramel, but for me it's a carto clogger if you go too heavy on it. That's the main reason I started using the NF Caramel in my main cookie vape (the small difference in taste is worth not wasting a carto a day) and NF's Caramel Cream as a stand alone. I still toss in a few drops per 15ml of the FA caramel in my cookie mix to enhance the flavor.

Charlie, I really wish I had some Zen to send you, but I never tried that one :( I'm on a very tight budget as well and the extent of my experimentation is usually limited to samples sent from this generous group we have right here!!

I'm still not digging many of the fruits, they start out ok, but I end up not being able to vape them for more than an hour. I either get a nasty aftertaste, or in the case of citrus, my mouth and tongue get raw feeling. Same thing happens if I drink citrus juices like orange or grapefruit juice.

The one fruit that I have fallen in love with is the FE Blackberry mixed with my usual staple Caramel Cream!

One of the next flavors I want to try is Hazelnut and try mixing it with the FA Cappu that Jimi recommends.

Aww Bov, you're sweet, but that's okay, with the money I've saved on cigs if the old fart can't give me a few bucks, I'll just have to kill him. Ha ha ha ha, only joking! I have a very twisted sense of humor, can ya tell? I HOPE!!! I just need to be realistic, I want everything! But I'm still having fun experimenting with flavors sent to me from this wonderful group too, so no complaints here really! Just being a brat! You know how it goes, you see it, you want it. You know it doesn't mean you are going to get it!

I got this in the mail today.
Tobacco Express Captain and Benson.
Fruit Express Oates
FA Cappuccino

They all smell pretty good. I made a batch of everything but the Oates (ran out of clean bottles) and will probably try them tomorrow.

Note on steeping...

I have a little mini mixer that I use after I make up a fresh batch. The mixing blade can fit through the opening of my 15 and 30 ml bottles but I could still mix it in a small stainless cup that I have if I wanted too. Anyway, If im making more than 10 ml and using more than one flavor I will do the following,

Drop flavors first
Hold bottle under hot tap water for a few minutes
Mix
Add nic base
Hot bath (5 min)
Mix
Hot bath (30 min)
Mix/Blend one more time and leave the top off overnight.

I usually let the new bacth sit over night but its fine after a couple of hours if I get impatient. To me this is the equivelent of about 3 weeks steeping time and the following day the juice (regardless of what it is) will be what you would be hoping for from a long steeping process. Most of what I mix is close to a 100% VG although I will go 50/50 on some stuff. The heat/blending/VG is what eliminates the long steeping time, even if your using tobacco extract or tobacco absolute (I use them quite often).

Good luck. I tried regular Maxwell house months ago and it didn't work well. I'll be off the the store to see what I
can find this morning. I did tea extraction yesterday. Haven't mixed yet.

You would get better results using fresh ground beans from a strong coffee. I added to much pg my first time and the flavor was very weak. I used a stronger coffee and less PG on my next go around and it was much better. If you have some patience and want to make it really good then grind up some fresh coffe beans (pick a good flavor), fill a glass container 1/3 with the coffee, add 2/3 VG, simmer in hot (not boiling) water for a half hour, leave the op off of your container for another hour after simmering, the screw in the top and put the container in a nice dark place for a couple of weeks. This would give you a true extraction, very concentrated and 100% flavor. You can use the same method with VG to make other concentrated extracts as well.

Are you pouring it through a strainer or coffee filter at any point? Most recipe I have read say to pour it through a filter into your container after the long simmer.
