Thanks, I've never used it, it should be here Thursday .. what % do you use yours at? I'm leaving on a trip on Friday, so was going to mix it right away and then let it steep while I'm gone for 8 days.

We'll see what Jimi says about his but I like it at 10% flavoring. Most of the Hangsen's are 7-10% for me with more being at 10% than lower.

LOL it tasted really awful to me. However, it may taste like golden honey to you. As they claim taste is subjective.

Maybe... I was mainly curious though. Since I hadn't already read a bunch of discussion about how great it is, I didn't think I'd be getting it. With my tight budget, and my already giant collection of tobaccos that I don't like, I don't buy much without reading multiple times that something is really good. Thanks for posting your thoughts on it though :)

No problem. Everyone is different. When I vape at levels that high. I get an uncomfortable chemical burning sensation on my tongue. It tastes good, but the reaction sucks.

Do any of you remember the original Newport Flavour website from back in 2011? It must not have been successful, or they wouldn't have abandoned it, right? It was before my time, so I never saw that site. Here's a link about it.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/167192-newport-flavours-fragrances.html

I just got off the phone with "Nick" at NF. He took down my questions and said he'd get back to me later today or tomorrow. I was asking about a bakery cinnamon and if the extracts or the coffee/tea flavors should be used for vaping. He said the coffee/tea ones should be used because they're oil based.

I also asked if they're planning to offer smaller sized samples with cheaper shipping on the Newport site and explained why that would work better for DIY vapers. He said that sounded like a good idea and will ask about it. He said they're still working on that website.

Will let you know what he says when he calls back.

Seems like it wouldn't hurt if some of the DIY veterans here would shoot him some emails and let him know what would appeal to us on that new website. And also get them pinned down on the difference between the extracts and the coffee/tea flavors. And I'm wondering if Kurt ever got a chance to talk with their chemist. ??? :)

if they are oil based I don't think they are very safe for vaping

I don't think they are, all of the ones on the NF site are alchohol based. I think they keep all of them catergorized by carrier as well as natural/organic. Some groups are water based, some oil and some alchohol. All of the alchohol based flavors should be good to go.

I remember the old site. They had a link to it at Natures Flavors home page. Just goes to show you that unless the people you are talking to are familiar with inhalation of flavors, their opinions can not always be trusted. Also, just because it is organic or natural does not mean that it is any better to inhale than synthetic. JMHO :)

Yeah...that was my reaction too Jimi. :)

I responded with "but I have read and been told that vapers shouldn't be using oil based flavoring".

ETA: There is no way for me to know what Nick's knowledge of their products is.
It sounds like Nick doesn't. I'm sure we'll get better information soon. :)

I highly doubt there is oil in the coffee tea flavorings-- they are like water thin and clear with no oil appearance or clues to an oily component when mixing. All you get is the alcohol. I had a hard time believing they even have VG in them as the bottle states. I think they are good and want more but this company needs to get with it on info that is being given out and on a reasonable pricing structure and shipping if they want us to buy there and not at a reseller. I want to get the extracts to see what the difference is if any between the two.

Also why don't they list the ingredients in the Newport site?
