I just got my father a setup and he's been a menthol smoker for well over 40 yrs. In addition, I went to one of my normal vendors and purchased a couple bottles of juice (single flavor - a watermelon menthol) just so he'd have something to vape. He actually likes the juice, but now after a few days, he's asking where to get more flavors. I gave him a couple B&M shops to try and we are also going out this weekend to check more out.
Now...onto the DIY aspect. I was thinking that if we found some premade juices he could tolerate, then it may be possible to add menthol to them.
1) Does menthol from different vendors have a different "taste" ?
2) What is the normal % for menthol? I was told about a site (vaping Zone) that has a concentrated menthol ...they say use no more than 2.5%. Does this sound about right?
3) Assuming he somewhat like the base premade juice, using 9.75ml (97.5%) of juice and 0.25ml (2.5%) menthol ...make a 10ml batch. Would this be the right way to calculate ???
4) If we were to purchase the menthol, how long is it expected to last (before it expires...assuming it does)
