Wanted to set up an up to date price and shopping guide for people new to DIY. I've edited it for ECF, and I know the nicotine is priced high. Too keep things on the safe side, i'll post sources within the scope of ECF's rules 8)
eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator
The Calculator I use to mix everything. Just plug in the numbers, and mix exactly as it says for you too. Couldn't be easier. Tks breaktru !!
Measuring equip: I use 1 3ml syringe with a blunt 18g needle and 1 10ml sytringe with a blunt 18g needle. I pull the nic, pg, and vg up and squirt right into the bottle I'll be vaping from. Flavoring I count drops because I don't want flavoring sucked into my syringes (almost impossible to get the flavoring out sometimes). I sourced these at a local feed store for pennies.
Bottles can be sourced all over the place. Really comes down to glass or plastic, but there are plenty of different colors available. I prefer glass with droppers.
E-juice ingredients:

I use 100mg/ml 100% VG. Reasons for this is because I prefer VG heavy juices, but there are times when I like to cut it down to 50/50 pg/vg. I vape 24mg juice, and I need high Nic Base that leaves me room to cut down. This is where you have to shop for deals, because nicotine will be the ingredient you can really cut costs on. There is a lot of unproven hype in regards to nicotine, and you have to weed through it all and decide for yourself where you want to buy it and how much your willing to pay.

Flavoring: This is where you get to go nutz. Instead of spending $50 a pop on premixed juice and praying it doesn't taste like dirty socks, you get to buy flavoring instead 8) Can save big time by buying in bulk here also, can get bent over hardcore on those 3ml sample bottles. Decide for yourself how you wish to allocate the funds.

This is by no means the cheepest way to DIY, there are specials going on all the time. This is just a snapshot with today's prices. Can divide up the shipping costs across the tons of 30ml bottles you will make with this first order, but it becomes pretty negligable. Gets cheeper if you don't vape such high nic also. Depending on the coupon code out, the bottle costs more then the juice inside it. Great thing is that bottles are washable, so they are not the consumable part of DIY. This order right here will make 17 30ml bottles of 24mg juice. You will have lots of PG and VG and flavoring left. So place another order for nic, and hammer a bunch out again. I keep the nic orders small, so that it doesn't oxidize up on me, and get old.
