I am still looking for a tester for that one...I am going to get it printed locally to see if the snap closures work and you can remove the outer shell easily for bottle replacement. The concept is to have no hardware in the case, but I don't know how flexible it will be...i.e. will there be enough to snap the sides in. It is also sized for the Hyperion 900, about the smallest folks have found.

Well.
That print didn't work out so well.

EDIT:
Does anyone know a good machining shop?
I wanted to get a quote on the case in aluminum.

Yeah I found emachineshop but when I wanted to install their software my antivirus warned me. And 3D orders starting at $184..... phew

That really isn't that out of line for a non-mass produced item. Building your own mod isn't really cheaper than buying a mass-produced unit like a VaporShark, etc. The main draw of building your own is the satisfaction of knowing you built a unique piece and that you can customize it to your liking. $184 is actually pretty good. I have an all stainless steel DNA40 mod I've designed that was about $150 to print at Shapeways. Add in the cost of the board and I already exceeded VaporShark rDNA40 release prices; but I'm happy to have something that nobody else has.:)

Nothing wrong about that. I wouldn't mind. If YOU explain that expense to my better half. Just give me a heads up before you do so I can leave the state. :p

Seriously. I'm not interested in building a DNA200 mod to own one before more and more mods hit the market but to have a mod that I build.

You will still love the one you built more than the one you bought
I'm not so sure. I built 3 DNA40's and bought 3. My favorite is my rDNA40 and DNA40, then the Hana mini clone I built.

I do like tinkering and building stuff so it's still fun to do, even if it nickel and dimes me.

How dare you speak about your children like that  I can't even let go of the DNA30 I put in an FT Hana box.
