So my new DNA 200 board came in today.
Decided to suck it up and solder everything myself instead of waiting for shakey hands friend to mess up.
Man now that I actually realised you are supposed to heat the wire on one side and then apply solder from the other side. So much more easy than what I was doing previously.
balance charger was easy. battery cables was easy. ground and out for atty went well. But man those tiny ... holes and wire for the switches and fire buttons was a paaaaain. solder had more the tendancy of running UP the wire I was soldering(the lead was pretty long so it was easy to use. heat up wire on top of the lead. put solder on the hole. see solder defy gravity and crawl up onto the solder tip. Man oh man the cursing. but in the end it was way easier than I expected. only one lead kept on not sticking(once again...positive fire switch) but in the end I got it to stick.
so everything was soldered well and then I realise....oh yeah I can't put my fire button in the mod with the leads there. hoorah. ended up snipping the wire in half and extending it(I had the leads very short so it wouldn't be a wirey mess) but eh. that is another task for tommorow.
tommorow I need to cut up some MDF cubes to use as supports for the board and screw the board on and then its just lipo time and some wire fixing.
And hoorah DNA 200 back in business
