VS lists every piece of detail except the battery type. Stupid bottom screen. Why?
I suspect the battery life is going to be poor and that is why it's not listed.
I suspect the finish will be poor as well just like the rDNA 40
How can we figure this out? Has anyone emailed Vapor Shark? (About to try myself).

I think this is the first DNA 200 mod actually available to ship at retail (presumably) in quantity. The Avalanche has just started lol.
I was in a FB group when VaporShark posted about the new VaporShark200. I asked, "What is the size of the LIPo battery?" Then another guy said, "yeah I would like to know the same." I went to another group and came back waiting for a response and Vaporshark deleted the whole post.

I found it a little strange that they haven't responded to the battery question since it has been asked many times. But to hear they deleted and entire post on it seems very strange indeed.
They just counted me out as a customer. I heard bad things about them, but I thought I might give them a chance. My post being deleted is just unbelievable. I actually went back to check it again and refreshed to get the statement "This post has been deleted" I was looking at the new Vapor Flask too. But with their reputation for horrible customer service I think I'm going to shy away from that as well 
I think for $199 I think I'd rather get the Boxer mod. I already have a Opus and a Hana V200.

I always see people complain about the finish but I have a hard time blaming it on the manufacturer unless its some random issue. The finish on my nearly ten month old rDNA looks like new aside from a couple tiny chips from some pretty hard drops prior to me getting a skin for it.
Personally, I'm more concerned about the box than the battery size. The previous Sharks were tanks, with the switch to aluminum and other mods being of a similar size, the only thing that makes this thing stand out is the bottom screen and the power button (which rattles and looks like crap after extended use). At $200, the production Hana, Whiteout and the VT200 seem to be better buys as far as I'm concerned.

If you like huge mods with large lipos there many other choices. I like small mods, so either way its a compromise.
2 amp charging seems to somewhat make up for the smaller lipo.

I already placed my order for the VS DNA200... so I guess we will see what happens. It does support 2 amp charging... so not extremely concerned about the size of the lipo.
As for the finish... we will see. I had one of the very new VS rDNA 40s, and it did not wear at all from being in my pockets and my work bag. They said they are doing a black anodizing first, then the matte black, then the clear soft touch rubber. I think you'd have to gouge it pretty nicely to get past the first two layers, then into the anodizing to hit the aluminum.. to get that silver color.
Even in the event that the matte black and clear peel off... you're going to be left with a black exterior that is not paint... and wont peel. I hope it doesnt get to that, lol.

I was just relaying what happened to me in the group I was in BTW it seemed like a nice device, with the new paint method and the $30 dollar upgrade to paint. It's just that the whole post getting deleted is what spooked me. I think I'll pass for now and wait for some reviews
