that i like. i didn't even know proto sold an evolv reference style mod. i do plan on saving up for a reference style that is able to fit a 1300 mah, when they become available. you get the pocket clip with it?

Nice! I have a Hana v200 which is about the same size as the reference mod and love the size but the styling on the ref mod is way nicer. I wish that Silo was available when I was buying. Hana just sucks with warranties. They pinched the screen ribbon and 5 emails did nothing to resolve the issue. Not once did they offer to fix it at all. I opened a ticket with Evolv and they sent me a new screen in 2 days. It's been perfect since but I will never buy another Hana product ever again nor will I ever recommend them.

I have 2 enhanced ref mods from a co-op with 1300mah batteries and they're pretty awesome but big.

Here's a comparison (ERM+, VS DNA200, v200):

Hyperion Vape? I know they're pretty good. Problem I had was I bought directly from Hana and their CS absolutely sucks.

Is there anything out there that's decent in the sub150 range? Preferably dual 18650 and definitely not 3 18650.
Eciggity has the Hcigar VT133 for $144 if FT is to slow for you. I canceled my order for one but not because I thought it wasn't any good, just thought I should get the one that I wanted in the first place.
HCigar VT133 Box Mod
Not sure but I believe shipping might be free.
Free is an option.

as usual hana was 110% legit. i went there as usual. in 5 minutes he converted my battery to user replaceable. put in a fresh battery, tested it and gave me an extra battery. i love hana. i am not sure what everyone is having go wrong with them. honestly i think they are are just tired of people bashing them. they always took care of me above and beyond. he did not even ask me for proof of purchase. well, he knows i get all mine at hyperion anyways. good luck with that kind of service from a chinese company. i have nothing but good things to say about hana personally.

nic,

I normally wouldn't comment on a post like this... BUT
Making a comparison to someone that lives next door to Hana and can do a walk in is considerably different than what most experience via email or phone calls.
Plus comparing your experience to what you might have with a Chinese company is just ridiculous. I have found the Chinese to be very helpful with problems but to expect 5 minute turnaround with a Company 6,000 miles away in another country is just silly.

I purchased a Hana DNA 200 from them and it failed. I contacted them and got the runaround. I then contacted Evolv and had a very pleasant experience and received a brand new replacement within 5 days. Obviously I don't live within driving distance of Evolv but they sent the replacement immediately and trusted me to send the failed unit to them after the fact. Now that is what I call service.

This is the one I've been looking at. Just unsure because its quite the sum of money for me and with it being brand new I'm a bit hesitant to be a guinea pig. If its the only option though I probably don't have much choice in the matter.

Looks like you have to build it yourself which I couldn't do. I don't have the tools or the experience to do something like that. Thanks though.

waiting on the 1300 mah silo.........russ posted in the evolv forum a pic or rendering that looks like it would do me just fine.

edit.......whoops just checked the modcrate site and looks like they're available.
What's the lead time? They are pre-order, the reason I didn't order one (well one of the reasons)
Edit: Maybe if I could just learn to read, it says " For orders 10+ allow 7-10 days delivery". Oh that's for 10 or more, still kant read.
That's probably the same for the one I ordered as well.

holman, gt. point taken and acknowledged. that is in fact all i meant about china. the logistics. i find most chinese people(in china) to be very customer service oriented. so granted. i do not in fact live next door to hana! to be honest i anticipated the same issue you speak of. i drove 7 hours there. to get there at 10am i of course left in the middle of the night. this is in fact exactly because of what you say. regardless, face to face the service was top notch. above and beyond. perhaps they just have too much work. not excusing it okay. when i was there it isa rather small place and all but one lone man was staffing the entire company. perhaps therein lies everyones issue that has emailed/snail mailed to them. they may be overwhelmed. on the other hand the gentleman dropped whatever he was doing and had me not only set but upgraded and with two fre batteries. all the while not even asking for proof of purchase. the service was a1 face to face. i understand your point completely. obviously i was taken care of because i just showed up at their door. that is a given. i am very sorry others may have had a different experience through long distance communication. you have to understand they also must be a bit jaded because no one cut them any slack this is a tiny company. consider this a custom mod and perhaps then think of it differently. i am sorry for your and others experience nonetheless. i, on the other hand absolutely love this company. perhaps soley due to the fact that ib can show up at their door. that may be a given. i am not sure. of course ymmv but i completely stand behind this company personally. obne can only go by their own experience.
your point is taken though. i would go so faras to apologize for them on my behalf. i am elated with them. it is not exactly as if i live next door either but willing to make the drive. specifically for the reasons you mention. so, i hate to say this but i sincerely do not doubt you.

on that note it is all about dna200. i simply love this board. i now have 16 of these devices from various manufacturers. i chipped my battery cover on the wisemec but i would not even bother trying to get anotrher. not worth my time. hana is in fact. driving 7 hours in the middle of the night. i hold hana with the highest esteem. i am just a fanboy. i have no connection them whatsoever. iu swear on that. it is in fact my favorite mod rigfht now. even with only a 950 mah battery. mostly due to the fact it is hardly bigger than a pack of gum and solidly built to boot. i am tired of painted mods. make mine anodized please. second is the efusion. i adore those as well. the wisemec is honestly just to heavy. i do not get more time than a 1300mah lipo. all said and done most dan200 mods are flagship devices and show pride of wrkmanship., i am notsure you can go wrong with any f them. it is the board. period.

anyways, i mean no hard feelings whatsoever. i wish everyone the best.

Well 7 hours is not exactly next door. ;)

Nic, no hard feeling here either. I just misread you comments about China's products as not fully supported. And to put fuel on the fire I bought into the Hana DNA 200 when it was still in the Evolv Ref. Box. It lasted a day and I called Hanna and they wanted to help me trouble shoot via email. Then they said they would send an RMA but I never received one. I contacted them again and they wanted to go back to helping me understand how the DNA 200 works. "Circle Jerky". So my experience was not near as pleasant as yours but after driving for 7 hours you certainly deserved special attention. :thumb:

Has anyone using ThinkVape 133 yet? The construction seems quite nice in my opinion, the is also an upcoming DNA200 that looks like Reuleaux utilizing 3 18650.

I bought one of these from FT and it is due to be delivered on Friday. It does look like it is built very well like the Panzer. I don't usually take chances like this but I couldn't resist the deal with MAP at $115.

I have been wanting a dual 18650 DNA200 (133) and hopefully this one turns out to be a winner. I will let you know.
