DNA20 Screen Cradle/Bezel/Housing Panel Thickness

Ok by now most DNA20 users that frequent this forum are familiar with the screen cradle I have on shapeways (mamu's design).

My question is if two or three versions for various panel thicknesses would be handy?

The current depth for panel thickness is 1.5mm. The greater this is the further the dna screen will set from the face.

However I'm not going to do a million sizes....I was thinking like a small and large or small, medium, and large.

I guess the depth of the screen from the face of the enclosure is determined by the thickness of the enclosure a modder is using. Some peeps will use wood, others metal, etc.

Standard, medium, and large may be the best option....won't be able to cover every possibility out there anyway....just my 2-cents and that won't even buy a cup of coffee....

I would love to have one of these and thought the price was very reasonable for a limited run part. 6.50 for shipping though? If anyone buys a few of these and wants to drop one in the mail to me, we can reduce the cost of both persons parts.

How about a seperate bezel and cradle (both with a flange) that could be sanded down to fit any thickness of enclosure?
If a persons enclosure is too thick, the gap between the cradle and bezel could be filled.

It's perfect - for me - with the 1.5mm depth.

No problem with Max and Lexi which have a 1.5mm case thickness, but Delsy, which has a 4mm case thickness, and Stealthy, which has a 2mm case thickness, I dremeled down to a 1.5mm thickness just in the area where the screen is attached to the cable.

Wow. This looks great! So does it hold the board and screen? And does the screen sit flush or recessed? Just curious if there are any pics of it in use?
