The CR2's i use are the new protected ones and work wonders with the BB, i can't see me having a reason to have 2 6v pv's so if they worked with the Omega id just use my BB as a 3.7v device. But ill definitely keep the CR123's in mind though thanks for that info

I think they will work but not for sure. let us know..

I got my Omega today and the 123's work well with it. I couldnt answer you on the Cr2's I threw all of mine in the trash months ago after the first mishaps people were having with them. Mine were the unprotected ones. Good luck. I would get some 123s just to be safer.

I think they will... but just barely. I tried mine (from my BB) in there and they worked... They're a bit short and just barely come up past the edge of the bottom. They're also smaller around so it might be that the center contact from the top will miss the button top if they're over to one side. I suppose if you used cardboard or plastic to center them some that wouldn't be a problem.

Quick your like the battery master.

What type of Cr123 batteries fit in the Omega?? i just got some CR123A 16340 800 mah batteries and the Omega isn't logn enough to hold them. I can get them in there but the omega won't close all the way :(

I have the cr123's from madvapes

they are 16 x 36mm

are there any ones that are maybe shorter?

The OMEGA is designed to take a battery no more than 69mm long. As I do not recommend stacking batteries I will allow someone else to point you in the right direction for those batteries :)

I'm using these.

Rechargeable Batteries & Battery Chargers - 4 RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Protected Batteries with a Smart Charger

They fit fine. They are just a bit skinny but not enough to cause any problems with missing the positive contact at all. Seem to last almost 8 hours. They do seem to charge slowly (using the supplied charger) and take about 3.5 hours to charge from flat.

I believe that AW also makes some protected cr123a's (regulated to 3v) that should also fit.

I believe the limit on length we have is 69 or 70? mm. The Tenergys are 34 mm so X2 = 68 mm. I sort of remember the AWs are the same length and maybe 1 mm larger in diameter (no problem since we know we can go 18 mm in diameter. Tenergy = 16 mm diameter)

[EDIT]
lol, Chad answered while I was typing this. 69 mm max length.
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure the AW's are regulated to 3.0v. Might just be regular 3.7v cr123a's. You'd have to check on that if you want AWs instead of the Tenergy's.

So just for warning if your planning on running the Omega at 6v like your not supposed to. Don't get the CR123a batteries that are 36mm tall (like the ones from Madvapes)

I'm not sure why that's the case. 16340 is supposed to mean it's 34 mm tall. I do remember that people were using them without being able to screw their SBs all the way closed.

I think I told my story about the tenergy's earlier. I originally got a 4 pack w/charger. They worked out of the box, then only half as long after the first charge, then only about 10 minutes, then about 10 puffs. Seems that one battery of the pair was going flat or maybe not charging correctly or something. Did it with all 4 in any combination. So I called for an RMA and tech advice. No problem with the RMA. They emailed an RMA form and a pre-paid shipping label. I send the stuff back hoping for a post mortem. All I got was "we have credited the full amount back to your CC"... sigh no tech explanation. I called and they just said they had been marked as "nothing wrong" but it didn't sound like maybe they checked them. Service just said
"You're welcome to order again and see if they work this time".
"Will I still be able to RMA the second bunch if they don't"
"Sure, no problem"

So maybe they had some problems with the first ones? Or it was the charger? The tech guy said they had a new different charger they were shipping with those batteries. I bought 2 more sets and they are all working perfectly. They look exactly the same. Other people have said they had been using them for months with no problems before I got my first set.
