Do extreme vapers turn off smokers from making the switch?

been vaping for almost 2 yrs... and "clouders" irk me a tad....

just doesnt make sense... why buy 3 nic juice and blow thru 10+ ml a day to get your nic ( or is it about getting nic?) why carry around 6 extra batteries?..

wonder what would be the end effect if a clouder was to vape in the dark with ones eyes closed... would the satisfaction be the same?

3-5 ml at 36 nic will last me all day and even into the next day... 1 battery lasts me all day too....

36 would make my body ache. Same way that the patch does and that 12 mg started doing and that 9 started doing.
I would get sick no doubt.
I can stick to 6, and even if I went through 10ml a day I would still stick to 6.
Because I enjoy vaping. I don't just do it as a quit method anymore. I love it, mind my clouds are mid size. Like flavor more

hogwash.

period.

it's not about the size of the clouds for these folks. it's the fact it exists.

take it from someone who blows these clouds in public... and supplies a whole family of vapers that do not blow clouds... primarily carto users...

they get the same looks i do. though, it seems more often. they're more brazen about their approach in public places... because they don't think they need to be discreet thanks to the "smoke anywhere" adds on the t.v..

ETA: this past Friday i was traveling along the PA turnpike. i went in to a service plaza to get some coffee. i noticed a store clerk vaping behind the counter. seeing another vaper in the wild doesn't happen every day. so i approached him to talk vaping. as i approached, 2 more clerks took a vape. 3 store clerks out of 4 behind the counter vaping. the 4th went out to have a smoke. they were all vaping out in the open, in a building full of patrons and onlookers while serving customers. they were carrying egos on lanyards. this is what i see everywhere i go across the country... and i cross the country typically a couple times a month.

this time it was new stanton service plaza on the west bound side of route 70 in PA. a very busy plaza...

Some of it is psychological, I've noticed when my atomiser is wearing out and I'm not getting a satisfying vape - then I go outside in the cold air and exhale decent clouds, it just feels like I'm getting more.

And of course, those spending more than they did on smoking feel obligated to make a big entrance.

I don't think so. Vaping is not so common that people will start making the switch, just because everyone else is doing it. People start vaping, because (at least in most cases) they have decided to do so on their own accord.

I made the switch after seeing someone else doing it and asked "do those things actually work?".

I can see where someone wouldn't understand why others may not vape like they do, but honestly.....why would that irk you? Personally, I couldn't care less how much juice others vapers go through, what nic level they use, or how many batteries they carry around with them.

I mostly agree with that. Being "irked" by how others do things is right up there with that clueless senator who truly believes that adults don't like sweet flavors -- because HE doesn't.

If someone wants to blow thru 20ml a day and 6 batteries... no skin off my nose. Maybe they're rich and can afford that; I can't, so I don't.

The only time I object to serious cloud blowing is if I'm in a B&M trying to taste flavors to find a new ejuice, because all those other scents just confuse my nose so I can't taste anything. But I really don't buy pre-made juice anymore except one flavor I get online, so I don't really care about cloud blowers anymore. Oh, except those who get the B&M clerk to wrap them a .01 ohm coil so they can blow clouds with the cool kids, and have zero familiarity nevermind understanding of ohm's law and what an exploding battery might do to their pretty face. Those cloud blowers do irk me -- I don't care if they blow themselves sky high, if they're that stupid, but they might endanger others with their stupidity.

I'll say yes.

When my buddies and I are vaping (and dripping), it gets some attention from smokers, but they generally don't approach us, whereas when we were all still using EVODs, Spinners, etc. they chatted us up all the time.

Nothing's changed, we're still super friendly and love talking to people looking to make the switch, but their interest seems to wane when we're dripping.

So far I've had a few people see me vaping and ask about it, I keep a couple of business cards from the liquid supplier in my wallet and Liberty Flights have a shop in town I can direct them to.

There are various shops around that sell cheap outlay disposable cartomiser types that people can try it out - but I warn them that the cheaper the outlay, the more expensive consumables.
