I find it much easier to stealth vape with my Spinner II's and a cheap smoketech tank that I can replace the atty's when they crud up for a $1.49 each.
Just recently I stealthed in the airport in PHL and ATL, in the bathroom and at my seat in the gate area. Didn't try to be too shadowy but I just figured I'll vape until somebody asks me to stop. The key is I hold and hold the vape so I exhale almost nothing. I try to use light scents/flavors and 50/50 juice for such occasions. I vaped all the way down the jetway right up to the door of the plane as well as the bathroom with no issues.
I use Johnson creek "Domestic" for my stealth vaping. My normal ADV is The Virus from Nicoticket but I can't even use that in an actual smoke filled room w/o the smokers saying how amazing it smells. So choose your juice wisely for stealth operations.

If I'd had a box mod, and blowing clouds it would've drawn more attention and likely I would have been asked to stop. For me, vaping is primarily about delivery of the drug - nicotine. As a former smoker, I get little added value from clouds and the amount of juice that I use would increase greatly, along with my costs. So, I'll keep toodle puffing away, quite happily.

Seven pages? You guys have done seven pages? I'm still on the first one, just wanted to comment...
most of the vape gear I use is second hand used ... the eLiquid is DIY ... compared to smoking, vaping is practically free
There's something you could (pretty much never) say when smoking; "... gear I use is second hand used." Doesn't matter what your style, vaping is a godsend.

    tootle verb
    1. (informal)
Verb Forms [intransitive] + adv./prep: To walk, drive, etc. somewhere without hurrying

Well why is it that I keep hurrying to tootle?!?

There is nothing quite like rushing into tootling.

Now I'm perplexed. If tootle puffing is non-hurried, leisurely vaping and modwhomping is hurried, feverish vaping then wouldn't that make a person in a hurry to tootle puff a modwhomping tootle puffer???

The name was assigned in complete jest, for those of us who like higher ohms and lower wattages, and don't typically make big clouds -- we're just sorta tootling along. The entire thing is a joke, but does give us conservative/low-key vapers a way to identify ourselves to one another. You should talk to @Katdarling about it, she's Head Instigator of the thread. :D

Mod-wompers are those who are neither tootlers nor cloud chasers, OR, they vape in all the different ways and enjoy them all. And there's usually a lot of music vids posted in that thread of some truly outstanding music. :D And coil porn, LOTS of interesting coils on display. I can't participate in radical builds, but I enjoy seeing the creativity.

It's all just Fun With Vaping. :thumb:

And BTW, nice to see you back; haven't seen ya around in a while. :thumb:

I've been called many things, my dear, but INSTIGATOR? No, honey, not at all. Nor did I (as some may know) coin this particular term. I saw it and ran with it while I was on my search to find out if anyone vaped in the style that I use(d). That's all. It was never meant to change the world of vape. I didn't intend it to even have much meaning beyond the initial exploration. It was the peeps themselves that glommed on to it, and ran with it. OUR fellow vapers and vaperettes gave it legs.

And yes, of all the meanings available in our minds, I'm most closely aligned to this one, Mr. Boden. That fits completely!

I think all these expressions are pure silliness. Tootle Puffers (yes, that does promote a big "HUH??"). Modwompers? Don't know why, but I always here ROMPER ROOMERS. Clouders? Welp....... that one makes sense to me.

I still can't get past the silly names we've given ourselves here. "Tootle puffers" = let's puff farts. Yes, that's what I mean. That's the only thing that comes to mind. "Toot" = fart when I was growing up. When I read the words "tootle puffer" or hear someone say them, my mind instantly translates it into "I'm a fart puffer!"

Same with "stinkies". Aka "analogs". Both terms are like nails on a chalkboard to me. "I am trying to quit the stinkies". "Stinkies" is also a euphemism for farts. "Ooops, I let out a stinky." [No Farts, flatulence, the "pvvvrrt" sound of a quiet passing of gas. Analog is a clock or a synthesizer, not a cigarette. A cigarette is called a cigarette. When you were a smoker before you were a vaper, did you ask your friend to bum a "stinky" off of them? Or an "analog"? I can just imagine one smoker asking another, "can I tootle puff one of your stinkies?" or, "Can I bum an analog off you?" The looks you'd get would be worth seeing.

Modwhomper sounds like Chumbawamba. I do not get knocked down, I don't have to get up again.

I am neither of these. I don't puff toots, I don't whomp whomp. I just am.

Farts, farts, farts. Toots. Puffing. Breathing in and out farts. I challenge you to open a bag or pork rinds, sniff it deep, and remind yourself you're a Tootle Puffer

P.S. Moist. How many people do I know who hates the word "moist". So if you're reading this and you think my hatred of a word or term is silly, but the word "moist" still grosses you out, let me be the first to say:

Moist Moist Moist Moist Moist Moist Moist

and all the implications and thoughts and feelings the word "moist" brings to your mind.

    Understand?

I "moistly" agree with everything you said, Rocketpunk. ;)

I really do NOT appreciate the terms "analog", "stinkies", or even "mouth to lung hits/lung hits". My own personal pet peeve is NOT shared by most (almost said MOIST again) of the community. I do not care for the term "juice". I invariably call it vliquid.

VLIQUID VLIQUID VLIQUID VLIQUID VLIQUID VLIQUID

    See? We agree! :D

    Tootling = farting? :shock:

Maybe that's why nobody likes me "tootling" my tin whistles.
I once tootled in the elevator. That was wrong on many levels..

I like those tanks Willy definitely different but very classy. Have you had any of those tanks accidentally fall over and crack? Thinking about getting something for my wife she's been complaining about not being able to see the top portion of her kayfuns.

Yep. I buy the slightly out of date cheap stuff. A Sigeli Zamx for $10, an iTaste VV3 for $10. 18500 batteries for a bit under $1 each. Got several 650 mah VV evod style batteries for about $3 each. I got 10 Kanger T3S's for $20 a few months ago. Kanger Evods for 1.50. I re-coil and re-wick and have better wicks than the original ones. I DIY all of my juice. 3 years worth of Salon coil cotton for a bit over $3. My actual consumable costs are under $1/day. And I vape around 10 ml per day.
You gave us the tip on that ZMax on the Tootle Puffer thread and I bought it. I like keeping it at the office 'cause it takes any size battery.

I'm using it right now at my office with a Smok T Dux 4.0 (2 ohm) sitting on top of it. Chuckin' huge clouds at 7.5W with my DIY max VG (cola flavored).

Do you get an ID card or something when you get to be an "advanced" vaper?

Vaping a Zen atty on a ProVari is the best example of TootlePuffing...
You mean like a Kabuki with a 1.8 ohm coil head sitting on top of a P3 fogging up an office suite with max VG at 6.2W?

On another note, I was talking to a fellow vaper out here in real life last night, and he used the term "tootle puffer" when I pulled out my rig. I kid you not.
