Do I need to clean the coils on a pro tank mini II every time I add a different ejuice?

I'm kinda interested in the answers you get from this as well. I have found in the little time I've been vaping (6 weeks) that using 100% vg (or high VG percentage) juice require more frequent cleaning/dry burning because they gunk the coils faster. Hope that helps some.

Just for reference all of the juice I currently have is 50/50. I only put in a little bit of juice to begin with (probably 1/3 full) because I wasn't entirely sure which tank I wanted to use in the long-run. I'm really digging the pro tank mini 2 though.

I've found that if you are changing flavors it is a good idea to rince your equipment and rince out your coil. Not only does it clear out the last flavor so the new one will taste like it should, but it also washes out much of the deposits the juices leave behind. I can vape for weeks on one coil as oppose to many people I have heard of that have to change them once a week or even every few days.
A little care and attention will help your stuff last a long time.

I really like the protanks myself , just wish I had more of them. 1st time I used it it leaked like crazy but since it's been flawless.

As far as cleaning the tanks I wouldn't recommend koolada that stuff last forever

I got a KAngerPT2 yesterday, and within hours it got a burned taste, so I swapped the 2.5 head out for the 1.8 that also came with it. It was good vaping again, til this morning. It went to burn taste again. I'm using a cheap vision spinner, but never really cranked it up. I would have thought the 2.5 should have lasted longer.

Now what? I didn't buy replacement heads, which was dumb, but what am I doing wrong? Is this what I should expect, changing heads daily. I do like to take long slow draws, does that have anything to to with it.

My other mod is a 5v Smok Woo and with a Pyrex DCT 2ohm, I can go at it for a week with no problems.

A head lasts me (on average) about 10 days, but then again I dry burn the coils to make them last longer. There are videos on YouTube that show how to clean/dry burn coils. I would just search for "dry burn kanger pro tank mini" on You Tube. I personally use the Kanger Pro Tank 2, and it's not really that hard to do.

Now what? I didn't buy replacement heads, which was dumb, but what am I doing wrong? When you fill your PTII, do you let your juice soak into the wicks for 5 minutes or so before you start vaping? Is this what I should expect, changing heads daily. I do like to take long slow draws, does that have anything to to with it.

When I used the 1.8ohm, it didn't cooperate with me at all! Leaks, gurgles, burned, etc. I went 2.2ohm. If you really draw hard, or real slow it will burn your coils, it doesn't give the wicks enough time to soak up more juice or burns juice that isn't evaporating fast enough. I don't know if that helps. Been using PTII for over a month and have my bubble pack spare coils to switch out........but only do that when I change flavors and then soak the previously used coil and clean it.

OR........... just get a pack of heads and screw a fresh on on with the new flavor change:D

Just curious, wouldn't that get expensive? I mean if you change flavors once a day, that would be 2 heads per day. At $2.50 per head (using 2 daily), that would be like $150.00 per month, wouldn't it? Too rich for my blood (unless my calculations are wrong or unless you are saying change heads while cleaning the other one to reuse.)

No, silly! Clean your used head while you vape your next flavor! :)
