Do not buy the RX200S!

No matter how many times I see the RX200S knocked for whatever I am sitting here still using mine years later as my daily beater and it has been dropped so many times I am actually thinking about a wrap or a new paint job on the battery cover. This outlasted a Movkin Disguiser 150W which got trashed after one drop.

I've thought about a silicone cover for mine. That plastic snap on battery cover wouldn't like hitting a concrete surface without a jacket on. My luck would probably be a frame break and the mod would be toast.

haha, I have 2 in daily rotation with no issues. Knocked one over an hour or two ago actually and no issues. Big ole boreas tank even survived thanks to the odd shape of the mod.

My rx2/3's (3 of them in total) on the other hand: 1 of the 3 had to be shipped back and replaced when I got it cuz it wouldn't work in 2 battery mode. One of the 3 was still in rotation until recently when it wouldn't work in 2 or 3 battery mode: screen comes on but battery bar is empty (reverse polarity indicator I think) in either mode even though fully charged batteries are in proper order. I got too many other mods on the desk and in the stash that work without issue to bother pulling another 2/3 out of the stash to replace it.

love my RX200 with AF firmware it has been super solid. no problems after it has been dropped twice. 510 still in great shape
