Do Not Order "Free Trials"!!!

Glad to see this notice up here.

It's bad enough we're up against the FDA, Big tobacco, and Big Pharma... but rebills/negative-option billing affiliate offers often taint any credibility products have these days. (Acai, anyone?)

The FTC loves to play whack-a-mole with companies that do business this way. I still have friends that do affiliate marketing, told em to stay away from these -- if for nothing else, our sake. :)

Smoker Saviors is a rip off. They say they will give you a free ecig and when you call you have to order a month supply of cartridges to get the free ecig. It's only 99 bucks for 20 cartridges. LOL. Then they bill you 99 bucks a month every month and send you your 20 cartridges. You can go buy a starter kit with two ecigs, charger and 20 cartridges for less than a hundred bucks elsewhere and then just buy cartridges for 20 bucks or less every month after that. What a rip off!!!! RUN!!!

I almost ordered something that was coming from a "supposed" fox news site stating that one of their (hot) reporters had successfully switched because of this particular "reputable" place. I ordered my free trial, then started thinking about why it was called a trial? After researching, I found out if you did not return the product in 10 days, you were charged $89 for this product.

I called promptly and canceled ;)

I hate to be the one to take the opposition but in my experiences with free trials your best bet is to read all the terms and conditions, and facts. Every site has them and if you read them you'll understand how they operate and not be surprised by what happens.

I got my first ecig with a free trial and I'm still using the same site with no "contract" to receive more products but I still order through them. So far I believe they have the best cig on the market, great price and they even called me when I made my first order because I didn't completely fill out my order. Not all free trials are bad, you just need to know ahead of time what you're dealing with. Nothing in life is really free.

lol, yep, another apologist for free trials. First post, with a name like Imarketman, in THIS thread. You wouldn't, of course, have a vested interest would ya?

There's plenty of things in life that are free - or did you get your kids on lay-a-way? How much does your wife charge you on a monthly basis for services rendered?

Flawed logic doesn't help your case any more than inaccurate aphorisms.

I looked into one of those free trial sites and you got the e-cig for free but the cartridges cost 49.00 per month I don't spend that much on e-liquid and I ordered my e-cig direct from China free shipping did take 2 weeks but was only 29.99 and I did do allot of research first completely satisfied with my e-cig and my choice.

I have read a ton of posts allready regarding blu and I know that I am gonna get hammered for even trying to ask a comparison of the 2 from others, but I just wanna know if anyone else has had the same experience as I.I started with a Titan510 from TW on March 1st, I have been using johnson creek wisconsin frost as my primary fuel.I just got my Blu on Friday and the carts have the Johnson Creek Logo on the Back and I havent touched my 510 since. This little thing is amazing, the battery life kinda sux, but the flavor is amazing from these little carts.Hit me with some feedback!!!!

There are so many scams out there. The ones on the radio. Many companes on the net selling inferior products. I went to an actual store where I could try and feel severl different ecigs in Wisconsin.

I live in Milton Wisconsin I would like to go to this store and try out these products myself.

No knappy, there's no vested interest as I'm not promoting ecigs and at least I have a wife instead of a boyfriend.

Seriously, keep the personal attacks out of this thread. This is a place where people can learn about experiences with free trials and be warned that many have had bad experiences.

Imarketman does have a valid point. In any contractual situation you can understand what is going to happen if you actually read the contract. Granted, some companies will violate their own contracts and try to screw you anyway, but I have no doubt that there must be some companies out there actually honoring the offers they make.

The problem being addressed in this thread is that there is a significantly higher number of companies out there using these free trial offers to lure people in and then charging them anyway in the hopes that some people will be too lazy to do anything about it.

Everyone here should have a say about any topic, but keep it on topic.

This is not a good thread for you to be asking a question like that.
That is a complicated question that should be directed to the experts.

I strongly suggest you repost your question in the following thread:
