I don't know if somebody posted this yet or not, sorry I did not read the entire thread. Anyways, they don't even have to put the fine print on the same page as their product. I don't know if this is a recent development or not. You may need to click a link that says "Usage rights" or something to that effect. As long as you get something from an ECF recognized supplier you should be OK. Nothing is ever really free. Always ask somebody here on ECF before you buy anything and you should be ok.

Hi, I am Steam.Punk, and I got started on a "free trial". I wound up paying $80 for a $12 mini cig and 20 cartridges. Then I started poking around and realized it was a rip, so I contacted the company and cancelled my 'subscription'. No problems, however, they canceled it right then. Caveat Emptor; we all know, "If it sounds too good to be true..."

i got caught by one of these before i knew about ecig forum

they charged my card 4.95, then removed the charge, then charged twice, then removed one.. thats what made me read the fine print, then i saw they do some weird subscription after you have the device you have 10 days to return it or else they charge you like 99.99 then 49.99 every month after that.. i tried calling them to cancel and the number was disconnected, i found the number on my credit statement and called it and it went thru a loop of "all CSR are busy now, you will be helped shortly *music playing" each time for hours, i canceled the card as it was a prepaid moneycard visa so i didnt care, i never received any device from them either...i finally got word that they returned the 4.95 after i sent a "return form" in the web site weeks prior to the card being canceld

Unfortunately my ex-husband fell prey to an e-cig commercial he saw on TV. By the time he found out it was too late.. Fortunately or unfortunately at the time I was still smoking analogs so I didn't get caught up in that trap. I found you guys on here and did a lot more research so when I did buy my first e-cig I had all the facts as did he when he purchased his next one. I just hope no one else falls prey to these scammers who are out just to steal your hard earned dollar.

I've come to the conclusion that some of these subscription companies are fronts for tobacco companies. They diminish the whole e-cig revolution and make it seem irrelavent, too costly and a rip off. All their products look exactly like cigarettes. Once you try them and they fail to deliver it's very easy to go back to analogs with a bad attitude towards e-cigs. The old saying applies, "A good experience, tell your friend, A bad experience tell ten people."
