I learned my lesson on companies offering free stuff when I called the number in an infomercial offering a free food slicer thingamajigger. I did get a free slicer but I was also unknowingly signed up for $200.00 worth of magazine subscriptions. Oh, and surprise, the slicer didn't even work.
I ordered my e-cig from a reputable online store (and they sometimes throw in free carts for you to try their other flavors) then I saw the website spouting off about the 4.95 shipping thingy and almost ordered that for my mother, but then I saw all the fine print crap and backed off.
Congratulations on your week of being smoke free My first try was a gas station e-cig and I didn't care for it at all. Truly am glad that it worked well for you!
I jumped in before doing the required research. I ended up getting a "Half Price!" WOO! Great e-cig with a pack of free carts! - I got CRAP! You don't need to spend a lot to get a good e cig. but learn from my (and many others) mistake. Watch and read reviews reguarding the ecig you are choosing before jumping on that irisistable money saving deal.
Thank you much for the hint. Being new to this for a month-ish, I've seen "free trials" offered alot. Luckily I didn't buy into that. Have a great day.
I've also seen deals with a lifetime supply of Cartridges...just pay the "shipping and handling", which would probably be more than if you buy them through a reputable supplier.
While I admit that these free offers are really scams, they actually help introduce vaping to people who are skeptics. It would be nice if someone would create a very simple cheap starter set. Maybe 2 filled cartridges, 1 battery and a charger for $10. No strings attached.
I am not defending these businesses because I think there overall goal is based deception.
