As a good rule of thumb, I'll avoid anything that is offered with a free trial, e - cigarette, or otherwise.

I advise to check if you have to pay the shipping and handling fee. Usually that is where they scam you. If it is totally free, then you can go for it. But do not give out your cc details.

One of the "free trial" offers on the radio was my first exposure to e-cigs. Fortunately, the radio ad gave out the company's web site. I went there and was able to read the 'fine print' before ordering. And I'm glad I did! The ongoing monthly cost they were hitting people for was absolutely ridiculous! Just as you said, they were going to send you a certain number of new carts every month and automatically bill your credit card. And the amount they were going to charge you was more than I was paying every month for analogs at the time!

I orderedone of these free trials and then read the fine print. Yes, stupid me. I tried to cancel it the next day but was informed that it had already shipped. I then asked for an R/A number so I could send it back. They fought me vigorously but finally gave me the number. I got the unit yesterday and tried it out. All I can say is I got a really cheap ecig with horrible tasting juice. I received it yesterday and will send it back tomorrow. Do not take advantage of any free offers. Remember, nothing is free.

Hopefully this thread will stop somebody out there from getting pulled into this type of practice. All of those ad's were what prompted me to start searching for an alternative to analogs about 190 days ago.I did get lucky and find some good info on another forum and was able to order a 510 kit for next to nothing and that got me through until I started wanting more from vaping.I have since moved from an E-go passthrough to an e-power(completely happy but still looking) and continuing to delve into the world of vaping.Already been making my own juice so not much left other than making a few "mod's" lol.

Hello,

I know this is a free trial, but I signed up with a special offer code website today. It's quite a well known one, nothing dodgy. Anyway, my boss showed it to me because he knows I have an ecig and he saw this one on there:

Mini Tankomizer electronic cigarette

£18 instead of £45. Is this a good model? I know it's not going to be mega-super-awesome like some of the chrome beasts on this site, but is it worth getting? In case you can't see the link, it's a Halo Midi from The Smokers' Angel: Quality Electronic Cigarettes, with 2 batteries, 11 cartridges and a charger. Now, I was previously thinking of buying one of these Mini Tankomizer electronic cigarette after a recommendation from a member here, how do they compare?

It doesn't say '10 cigarettes worth' or anything like that anywhere. It's not one of the 'free trials' you guys are talking about here so I think it might be ok. What do you think?
