APD, kudos on encouraging others to vape instead of smoke! My wife and I have smoked for years, and always talked about quitting. We did the mall kiosk e-ciggies a couple of years ago, and went back to the analogs. After rediscovering ECF and seeing all of the new and evolved PVs out there, we got back in. She still hits an analog now and then, and I kind of scratch my head on why.
I guess I'm the cheerleader of the family. I'm excited, as I haven't picked up an analog since I finished my last pack, nor have I wanted to. I'm the one that's excited about this new lifestyle change. The wife? Meh... she vapes, but doesn't relish the vaping, as many on this site do. Me? It looks like smoking, feels like smoking, but without the smell and killer chemicals. The nic is getting into my system, and I can do without an analog. I LOVE vaping! She doesn't have quite the same love affair.
Different strokes, I guess. She has made her pack last two weeks, which is positive, and I don't begrudge her when she does smoke. But it is weird, and sometimes it feels like failure when someone else doesn't respond in exactly the same way. But, I know that as long as she continues vaping, the analogs will go away. I look at the immediate reduction as a success, and the eventual burial of analogs as complete victory!
Keep up the good work! I'm going to Vegas next month, and will be demonstrating the PV to some of my co-workers, BIG TIME. It'd be nice to see them switch over.
