My favorite is to simply leave it lowered and use that long drip tip to vape it down, you cant lay the device down when it is like this though and it might take a little while so it really depends on what you are doing at the time on which one works best.

I tried this the other day and it worked beautifully. Thanks for the great tips!

Hey folks, got to let you know it is nice to hear that typing into the ether is not falling on def pixels.

On my end I just love to share what works for me, thats why IBTanked is even here in the first place. As a nearly four decade PAD+ Marlboro guy who switched in one day it thrills me to be able to help another who is in the spot I was in or working on their way towards it to find an alternate path. My Dad who will be 87 this year took almost a year to come around but one day he called me up and said "So this isnt just a fad thing huh?" has been switched over for over year now... these are the things that feed us and drive us forward in wanting to reach more folks, your friends, your children and your parents. If they are smokers because whatever is out there doesnt do it for them but a cigarette does then just maybe this is the thing they need.

Have to say I am not a big pimp, i have a tough time in promoting something I am involved with because it makes me feel like I am trying to sell something. If my history could be culminated and rated it would say I am about the worlds worst salesman when it comes to promoting myself. Us being where we are today is all your fault ;) But I will say thanks.

The energy towards converting others started early on for The Mrs and I, we just knew when it hit us that this was something we wanted to share. So all of our family and friends got the best education we could offer along with any help we could in prodding them away from making ashes. When it came time that we decided we like cartomizer tanks we figured we deserved the best, unfortunately at that time it meant taking out a mortgage to afford it so we made our own. After showing them around a little it became obvious others would benefit from the same... hence IBTanked, Inc.

I have to also add, this has been a wild and crazy ride. Along with the thousands we have connected with we have also reached around the globe becoming the goto source for glass for many device makers and even supplying glass for other industries outside of vaping because of the quality and precision we have worked hard to offer. We thank each and every one of our customers for this, even the PITA ones :D because they have all helped to build us into the company we are today and will continue to shape us into the company we hope to become in the future.

OCD sir, Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations to Dad. I think you already know my thoughts about how special it is that you are able to share the journey with the family. I'm really looking forward to the honor of meeting you all in DC in a few weeks at Vapefest. Your products are top notch and the service has been outstanding. I also really enjoy the innovative IBTipsy. Enjoy the day!:2cool:

LOVE my IBTanked and am planning on replacing my Starter Kit clearomizers with your cartotanks.

Being new...I feel I'd like to try ALL the possibilities. But the only Boge cartomizers on your site are UNpunched.

Would these Boge cartomozers "work" in my IBTanked? They're Laser Punched, 2 1mm holes, 2Ω or 3Ω and Standard or XL.

Boge Mix'n'Match 5 Box Deal

Just accidentally discovered something that experienced IBTanked owners probably already know but newbies (like me) may not...

To save 75% of the time/effort in refilling the tank...leave it attached to your battery/mod!!!

No more unscrewing it off...holding it firmly while trying to completely inset the refilling drip tip...trying to not use so much pressure to push the cartomizer out that it pushes all the way out...rising the carto to aim for and snap back in the tight hole...screwing it back on.

Leaving it attached to my iTaste VV3 it took about 10 seconds...tops!!!

I tried filling my tank without removing it from my VV once, but I like being able to wipe down the tank, as I end up with a little bit of residual juice on the tank from sliding the carto out and back in. Even if you take the tank off, it really takes no time at all. I bet, at this point, I could fill my tank blindfolded.:2cool:

As long as you can get a good grip on the bottom cap that will work gerry. For something like a Provari with an IBTpro 22 where there is a flush fit you dont want to pull the tank up and chance popping the lower cap as that would make a mess.

Many ways to skin a cat, just make sure you are skinning the same cat because some bite more than others ;)

SO - this is a very weird coincidence. I need to do a trip out to Herndon, VA to one of our offices, and I had a 2 hour meeting discussing the dates of that trip which would be March 24 to the 28th. I wasn't paying too much attention to DC Vapefest, other then I knew it was going down, and check out some reviews afterwards. What I didn't know is where it was going to be. I may have to "accidentally" change my flight and go out that Saturday morning instead of that Monday.

The problem right now is there isn't anything cheap to either DCA or IAD for that Saturday morning. I guess I'm going to have to dig deep if I want to get out there Saturday.

Yes, short notice flights can get pretty insane. Might be able to trade up if you are close just by showing up if there are empty seats. For us its a three hour drive to the airport so things like that dont happen. We plan these events out well ahead of time for rooms and flights.

If you make it be sure to come by and say Hi.

Feels like it, too. Something in me still wants to get a 22 and see how it would look on the eVic, though.
I know it's been a while.. but I was going through this thread looking at the pictures for color choices, and saw your post.

Black eVic with 22mm XL IBTanked.
standard tapered ring on the left, squared ring on the right. 22mm is just a tad smaller than the eVic's body, but just a tad larger than my SVD's body. Works just fine for me

(Had to use my dirty A/C unit as background for contrast lol)

sorry, I know this has been asked probably a gazillion times but the search function isn't getting me what I was looking for so here goes...Any idea when/if the IBT Pro 22's will be available in colors to match the caps? I was thinking about holding off on ordering one until they were, and decided not to wait since my ProVari will be shipped probably Monday or Tuesday [that's what I get for deciding to order on a Saturday afternoon!] and I really wanted a ring to go with the tank I ordered for my future ProVari. So long story getting longer, I gave in and ordered the silver today since I much prefer the nice streamlined look the IBT Pro 22 gives to whole set up.
By the way...absolutely love, love, love the tank and am already trying to decide which color combo and size i want to order next. First just have to absorb the damages to the wallet the ProVari caused!

There is a thread here in the IBTanked forum on this, we are waiting for word from our shop as to when the parts will be ready. once they are ready we will start adding them on a color by color basis. Our anodizer gave us some headaches on numbers per color so we needed to restructure how we get parts in now. We will get through all of the colors as quickly as we can.

Lol. Just a 19mm standard but the Boges don't have that flared out base to keep it from popping thru.

OK...I read through the part of the tread about the way to prime a Boge carto in a IBTanked is to put it upside down in the Thingy.

I have a "more basic" question. The Smok cartos I got with my IBTanked have flanges at the bottom. The Boges are UNflanged. Will they "stay in" the IBTanked in normal usage?

(I only ask because I'm replacing all my clearomizers with IBTanked and I'd like to at least try a few Boge because I read they're a little "denser" than the Smok.)

The o rings in the tank will hold the position of the tank pretty well. You shouldn't have any issues under normal circumstances.
