Finally got a chance to fire up my new tank last night (I was waiting for a juice order).

Works great so far. Fit and finish are great, the thingy worked great for priming the carto, the included carto works great, etc.

I didn't even bother adding juice to the carto, I just filled the tank with some 70/30 juice, put it in the thingy, and then opened/closed the cap on the thingy until the top of the carto looked slushy. Then I topped off the tank.

Been running the included 3.2 ohm XL at 4.6 volts on my ego twist, seems to work well with this Black Honey juice. It's a little top heavy on the ego, but I expected that.

So far this seems like a very consistent "no fuss" setup, I'm doing a quick pull without firing once in a while to make sure the juice is flowing into the carto, but I'm not getting any dry hits, gurgling, leaking, etc.

Just went and ordered myself another tank so I can keep a second flavoring going, and I ordered a bunch of spare cartomizer's as well.

Thanks OCD!

Waiting on the Bean Counter for the 22s. Once I hear "go" it will take about three weeks.

Thanks TJ but the two Xs was a Dos Equis :D I was up to about one trying to get a computer set up for customer support email so it doesnt all get piled onto the Offspring. I really dislike windows 8 and was trying to get back to the old interface I am familiar with.

Windows 8 does take some time to get used to the new interface and you really don't reap any benefits unless you're using a touch equipped display device. I will say that on my older laptop (which shipped with Vista, yuck!), it runs slightly better than Windows 7 did and I rarely use the tiled start screen.

BTW: Which e-liquid flavor goes best with Dos Equis? :D

I Miss XP, still have my old desktop in the shop running it. The current desktop is a powerhouse as I sometimes do detailed design work, rendering ect... that is just too intensive without huge power so this one has 8 cpus and 16GB of ram. Not a top of the line workstation but gets the job done pretty well and doesnt notice Windows 7 bothering it too much. I actually kind of like 7 on this machine in fact. The 8 though is just a brain boggler to me as to why they would make such a drastic change without an option to revert to something more similar. I have found some suggestion on how to get the old interface back but so far nothing has worked. Prolly user error.

Any flavor goes with two Xs. You know all my life I had never cared for darker beers, they just tasted odd to me. Well after being a non smoker for a year I tried some different ones over the last couple months and found many complex flavors in there that made a very pleasing mix. Have to thank vaping for that though I dont know if its a good thing or not as my beer budget went up a bit due to it :D

Hi a friend recommended your tanks, and I have lots of Pyrex cookware so I was all in! I ordered the 22mm and 19mm tanks. Well, they came today and I went to fill that 22mm with my favorite juice and, for the life of me, I cannot get the cart to go through that top end cap no matter what. I even lubed up the o-rings and carto good with e-juice and used the included drip-tip tool but it was just not going to go in for me. I even tried another carto thinking that one may be deformed somehow. Unfortunatley, I chipped the pyrex when it went flying and now I don't think it'll seal well. :(

Oh, the 19mm worked perfectly.

Mike, send me a PM with your order number and we will get a new tube out to you. As far as the issue with getting the carto through the top cap if you would try a couple things for me please. Take the cap off the tube and see if you can put the carto through ok then try it on the tube (as long as the chip doesnt present a sharp edge you might cut yourself on). Be sure to keep the carto and refilling tip in a straight line, if you push the refilling tip over and it cocks in the carto it will show the sharp edge of the carto to the oring and thats when things stop. If you have a regular aluminum drip tip, one of those that are the same diameter as a carto then give that a try.

I believe often times when folks have trouble with these it is because that sharp edge of the carto gets exposed and the carto simply stops at that point. I have been tempted to ditch the refilling drip tips because they dont fit the best but they do work and most seem to like them enough especially for the price.

Now all that said I would not say that there cannot be another reason. Anything from the caps to the orings could be just enough out of spec to cause a problem are the tip you got could be wonky. I do know that the Mrs passes a refilling drip tip and carto through every cap both off the tube then through both of them on the tube they are shipped on.

OH, BTW before you start a stampede around here that would be a 25mm tank not a 22 ;)

Hi Natasha, lol at the avatar. Glad the Mrs doesnt have one of those :)

Yes you want the 19mm with an eGo setup. It will be a little larger diameter as it is, going to the 25mm on a small battery would be excessive for most.

LOL that! Thank you for the prompt response. Can you please advise what else I need to order from IBT with my tank... if anything?
And which punched cartos on your site are best w/ your tanks?

I hope there are basic instructions...? I've looked around, and read a bunch of stuff, trying to sort all tank/carto stuff out. I'm punting and ordering, and praying I can get it together when it gets here! Tired of reading.....

I love/hate WIN8. I just bought the new MS Surface Pro ultrabook-tablet-hybrid-thingy. Way cool. It's touch screen. Which is exactly WHY Win8 was born. APPS... it's got apps and touchscreen. Pretty much eveything runs from touchng the screen. It does have a keyboard, and an app to access the desktop, if one is so inclined. But it is really for all the new touch-screen stuff, IMO.

I added Office 2013. HATE THAT. Completely differerent. I wish MS would stop changing the format of everything and hiding stuff from me!

The complete tanks comes with a refilling drip tip we have been discussing above and a cartomizer so it is ready to use. Lube the orings with a qtip and insert the cartomizer with the refilling tool on it. Make sure you back up the cap away from the end you are pushing from when either inserting the carto or lowering for filling.

I would do a practice run on putting the carto in and lowering then reseating it so you are familiar before filling, seems a few folks have had to wipe up their elbow as part of the lesson plan :D

Fill the carto by squeezing the liquid in the gap between the drip tip and cap while the carto is lowered then slide the carto up into place and remove the refilling tip. Now drop the full tank into the thingy and put the lid on, you will see some air bubbles, remove the lid and replace it 10 to 20 times until about a quarter of the tank is gone. Now with it on the battery use short button presses while drawing to make sure the coil is wet, when you taste the flavor and are getting vapor you will know. Use some longer presses on the power button a few more times to really get it going good then vape away.

Getting the carto primed and started out correctly is critical. You dont want to burn it from no liquid on the coil, once its wet and as long as it stays wet it should last a week or two and all you have to do is keep filling the tank up when it gets low.

Sorry but we are about out of cartos so I dont have them available other than for with the complete tanks until we get more in. I usually send folks to Hoosier ecig supply when we are out, they dont carry the exect same ones we use but you can get a 3ohm two hole there. Hopefully we will be getting our cartos in soon. We had one shipment that ended up being the wrong ones and are trying to sort that out now, we really liked these though so certainly we want to get more of them.
