TJ, I posted a link back a page. This is just a couple hours in a coffee shop basement in Riverside vaping and checkin out each others goodies We are going to be at VapeStock in June also in FL. Maybe something will come up for Vegas? Would be nice to get over that way for a quick break from the grind.

No, I got an XL, but the carto isn't a standard size. No worries, I'm still thrilled with the tank!

I have no doubts that Vegas could and eventually will host a world class vape event. Seems vaping took root in the east earlier on than the west, at least it appears that way looking at the landscape. Considering that it makes sense the big events are back east right now as the long trips are difficult for many to plan. Vegas does have the alluring draw that a lot of folks like, when you do plan a big trip its nice to double dip and gambling/vaping is a good mix We may be a little behind the curve out here on that but that tide is rolling fast, it wont be long before there is something for us lefties.

If anyone gets wind of something coming together for the west coast be sure to let us know because we would certainly like to support it.

Would love to see something in Vegas. I mean come now its an adult playground lol. And im supprised Vapefest isnt here considering how much cheaper the convention space is here compared to NY lol i should know i lived in NY more then half my life. And the hotels will always run a special for people on room rates if the convention associates them selves with the hotel. And all the hotels here will usually follow suit to try and steal business lol. Also with smoking allowed in the hotels which means can vape anywhere without hassel you would think this is the perfect place to hold vape conventions.

I have an announcement to make.....

I AM FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY USING MY IBTANKED TANK!!! woooohoooo!

I waited so long to give it another try so I could be patient and chilled out with no distractions. ....and I got it on the first try!!
I semi-soaked a Q-tip, lubed up the carto, and lubed up the in/out of the tank... I slid one end in... filled up the tank... then gritted my teeth pretty much expecting failure... and BAM! the carto just slid right through the top end like it belonged to! Seriously, I looked at it and it was right and I couldn't believe it! I was ready for failure but thanks to all y'all giving wonderful tips, I am now not just a proud owner of an IBTank, but also a proud USER of an IBTank!

....and then I got to fiddle with my thingy and all was right with the world! AMEN!

Cool TJ thanks for the heads up, will have to see how it comes out. I have sent them a note to see about getting in there. I kind of wonder about charging people to attend the event, seems like it would keep a lot of folks out who might be interested that would wander through otherwise.

Actually OCD that isnt unusual. And the price they are charging isnt bad at all actually its very good from other stuff ive went to here. I've gone to other stuff where the cover was 25+ and thats usually the low end. My only saving grace is i live here lol. Hey also if you need any help with anything and its in my capabilities ill gladly help.

Ok, I did the thingy thing to prime my cart and everything works fine for awhile. But, before too long I can tell it needs more juice. Short of putting it back in the thingy again, which I have done a couple of times, is there some other way that I can coax juice from the tank into the cart?

Take a few dry hits without the carto firing, you should be able to some small air bubbles coming out of the holes in the carto. Do that a few times every now and then or whenever you feel you need more juice.

The primer hits will help, the other things to try

harder shorter draws
more/large holes
thin liquid a little with a drop or two of water

if you have just gotten the tank going it may take a little to begin flowing good so I would try the hard draws or primer puffs along with fiddling first then if it doesnt line up with your vaping style and still runs lean look to adjusting the carto or liquid.

Got my first IBTanked last week. Fell in love, bought two more for me and my bro. Then I found this thread and learned about fiddling my thingie~!~! WAT!? Was my first reaction. I've been doing the drip method. So this morning changed out the first cartomizer because the draw was super tight after a week and put in the new one. Fiddled my thingie and WAMO! What an amazing discovery. So easy!

And about the tight draw: Found another thread that said sometimes the center hole in a cartomizer gets clogged. So the suggestion was to run a paperclip through from the bottom and and sure enough that worked!

El Mattias, I have not had any time to work on drilling holes. Its easy enough to make a hole but to reliably make the hole without getting chipping is going to take some work and I have not had the hours to invest in it.

on a side note, try a pilot-point cobalt drill bit, i don't know how they'll do on glass, but they bore through stainless like butter.

(...and BTW, OCD, in case the Offspring or Spouse ask, Yes, I did mean to order the 5-pack of standard Boges. I have plenty of XL prepunched, but I found a standard-size plastic tank in my drawer of vapestuffs that I had no carts for, so I figured while I was getting the caps for this other tank from y'all, that I'd go ahead and grab some standard carts to use with this other plastic tank I have from some obscure shopping venture from some point in the past). LOL

What happened to me, though, was that after a few failed attempts, I gave up... then I got scared to mess with it figuring on further failure... I kept reading everyone's tips, though, and knew I had to try it again sometime. Glad I did!
