hopefully the beach
I finally ordered a tank and really enjoying using it with the mvp2. I havent been satisfied as a "beginner" until now. The instuctions were amazing. Using the thingy and fill tool is a breeze. I am noticing a bit of leakage from the bottom more than Ive seen from like the protank or carto before I had a tank etc. Is this normal? Is it just the carto that came with the tank? Thanks. I will definately be ordering another one or more.

Sounds like the cartomizer is a little over-wet. Try long slow easy draws to see if that will help vaporize some of the liquid in the cartomizer without bringing in as much as what is going out.

Just imagine each draw is pulling a vacuum on the tank, this brings in liquid during that vacuum then releases the air bubble when the vacuum is released or the end of the draw. I know quite a few folks who also had a puff, puff draw habit which is sort of like kindling the fire on a cigarette or pipe then taking the draw. If you are doing that try not to as each puff pulls liquid in and it is so short that very little gets atomized and this will lead to over soaking the cartomizer.

I have used the refilling drip tip to dry out a cartomizer. Since it is so long you can slide the tank up so the holes in the cartomizer are just outside of the tank. Vape it like that for a little while and you have liquid going out and none going in. Just cant lay it down like that as the top wont be sealed.

Its a bit of a balancing act getting your eLiquid, voltage and style to all co-operate with each other. I think this is why so many folks give up on cartomizers, they just dont fit them. When you do find that fit thought its a tough vape to beat. I get as much or more vapor than I ever did smoke back when, great flavor and its about as tough as a few seconds each day to fill a tank and swap a battery then once or thrice a week set up a new carto. I spent more time than that looking for my lighter.

That looks sharp Logan, not many know it but you can request a Zombiefied Toxic by leaving a note in the checkout area for notes. The Mrs does a red spatter on them. I saw you placed another order with us and I let her know she could include a special sumfin for you.

Oh wow, I sure didn't know this... I'm speechless... Ok I'm better now... My Zombies will love this!!!

(Thank you Ocelot for directing me to this thread)

I hear you, the Provari has a feel to it that is unmatched in variable devices plus its nice to know it is a device that can still be working regardless of what might happen to it for a long time to come.

We should have our Beauty rings in soon for our 22mm tanks, waiting on prototypes and pricing from our shop but I am gonna guess they will become quite popular once we have them in stock.

I've had my Provari for almost the whole time I've been vaping , about 9 months. At first I babied it a bit but then I quickly realized that it needed to be my work horse mod. I take it everywhere. It's been dropped many times , it goes in my pocket with change and keys. It gets slammed around and beaten up and goes in to mosh pits at metal concerts. And it still performs like the day i got it. Some people hate on it because it doesn't do VW, but some simple math fixes that. Hands down the best mod I own and as long as I'm vaping I will never be without one.

Side note , beauty ring ?

Well the math will get you in the same territory but not the same vape. I do like VW though VV works fine for me too. With VW the vape is different because the power to the coils stays the same throughout the draw where with VV the power can change as the resistance of the coil changes due to being heated. Small difference but it is there.

The Mrs and I each have 2 Provaris, hers see more use than mine because I also have a crapton of other devices I rotate through. I have a shopping problem :D If/when provari does come out with teh VW option I will certainly be getting another, was going to stay with just the one but then they came out with the Zombie and well, you know ;)

The Beauty ring will cover the cone shaped top of the provari and match our 22mm tank caps. There are a few folks selling these but I dont think any are of US origin and none made specifically for our tanks so we are working on adding them. We also have a beauty ring for the SiD from Smoktech that we had them make for us. This is a threaded replacement for the existing top ring that is a little taller to take up the gap and sized to match our 22mm Tanks. Need to get those up on the site for the SiD folks.

Hey now Telly, that is some serious upscale gear there... I have 2 Mamu Stealths :D Told ya I have a shoppin problem. Honestly I saw the opportunity to pick up the second and did just so I would have a spare, that little thing goes everywhere with me often as a backup dropped into a pocket with a Blue HalfLing on it. Great thing about it is just the opposite of the feel of the Provari and that is the 2oz heft that you dont hardly even notice in a shirt pocket.

My main device for the last month or so has been SiD 18350. Been thinkin about doing one of those chopped in half side by side versions like Vamo I have seen pictures of.
