No. Even if I went on a lavish spending spree Id still still be ahead when compared to smoking.

You can see my cost savings in my signature. Even if I spent 1000 dollars on my mod, juices and vaping related supplies over the past 17 months Id still be ahead by over 3k dollars.

I can't put a number on it just yet, as I only started a couple of weeks ago.

At the moment, I've spent quite a bit. My first setup was a a couple of eGo's, which I've since given away. My mods have run about $200 including tanks, and about another $100 in juices.

That said, there's a learning curve, and now that I've got the hardware (and to some extent, the juices) figured out, the worst is over. My remaining budget will mostly be juice and atomizers, which should drop me to about $50/month. That's about 1/4 of what I spent on cigarettes, so I'm peachy with that.

As for me, my aim after a purchase is to make use of the setup as much as possible, surpassing the cost of buying analogs. Once I've passed it, I'm happy and open to look at new stuff :D

For some it's a hobby, but for some, it's to get by smoking and seeing ecig as something sustainable over a long period of time. Lucky for me shiny mods don't tempt me much as I have another expensive hobby. But... the hybrid copper mod looks pretty good... hmmmm...

Initial investments about equivalent to 2 months of analogs...with three clone mech mods..couple of ego bats..+ Evods/Protanks...about $300..theres no need to upgrade anymore..after that crazy savings..mths after mths..laugh all the way to bank..esp after discovery of super cheap branded liquids..plus creative mix with VG to dilute high-nic base+TPA nice flavourings...to stock up up to one year..vaping at 2ml daily..only less than $20/mth.on juice for past 6 mths..mostly even less..

next maintenance comes one year later..to replace batteries/coils/cotton...the most will go up to $30/mth..
