Do you have sticky lips?

Hi all, in another thread in the new members forum, I was asking about the sweetness of e-liquids in general, and I mentioned that the sticky feeling I get on my lips after vaping is part of it. A couple people said they didn't get that at all. So I'm just curious...

Do you have sticky lips? (From vaping I mean, if you have them for some other reason, I don't need to know about that !).

I started vaping a couple of months ago, with a Joyetech 510T, with automatic battery. It doesn't seem like any liquid is leaking out, and I think I'm not drawing on it too hard or fast. It comes after taking a puff and exhaling, it seems like the vapour itself leaves a slight sticky residue, and I get the urge to wipe my lips off.

Is it just me, or does anyone else experience that?

Perfectly normal.......Think of what you're doing when you vape.....
You're inhaling a flavored water vapor...especially if the flavor is a sweet/thick juice....the "after-affect" will have SOME residue....
Now...if you're using a tank that LEAKS juice....and you get a mouthful of THAT.....it's a whole different ball game.....!!
I find myself cleaning off/out the drip tip from my Cuban Coffee tank DAILY!!
Just the nature of the beast....!!

well...I not so much get sticky lips as I get dry lips and around my nose too...very dry....I've been using much more lip balm lately

DasBluCig, that's what I had assumed, that it was normal. But when I mentioned it, the other people like meanckz (hallo von Deutschland!) said they didn't get sticky lips. So then I thought, maybe it's my equipment, maybe I need a better atomizer or higher power or something...

I've never experienced the sticky lip thing Nada Nix, no matter what device I'm vaping. I have some pretty aggressive RDA's which can spit juice onto my lips, but that generally tastes bad so I know that's what is happening.

hahaha...you just want someone to tell you need to buy more stuff !!! that's how it gets started...oh yeah, and do you have back ups...you don't want to have to fall back on regular smokes, after all the hard work getting off them!

That may well be! Well, next time I'm at the shop I'll spend the five bucks for a Nano clearomizer... hopefully that's not a gateway to the hard stuff, and I end up spending my Christmas money on a Provari ;-)

Well, I don't consider a Provari the hard stuff, it's pretty tame ... more like mech mods with RBA's, but I do see where you're going with this

I've never had sticky lips, but like meanckz I've noticed my lips get drier since starting to vape. Interestingly enough, I do however remember having the filter get stuck to my lips more than once back when I smoked. MAN did that hurt!

I don't think you're supposed to store the clearo's in the freezer ... only the juices

I have sweet lips because my juice is sweet.

Not sticky, but I can taste most flavors around the mouth, and by day's end it feels like there's a fine coating of something on my face. These are more fruity flavors than sweet.

Interesting! Seems like I'm the only one... maybe I have ESP - Extra Stickiness Perception?

By the way, I got a Vision Nano clearomizer, and it's about the same. Maybe a little less sticky (although I'm having other problems with it, low amount of vapour and very harsh throat hit). Next week I have some Halo Torque 56 coming in, and also I'll try out my friend's Ego, will see how that goes...

Hope you enjoy the Torque56 from Halo. It's a good tobacco flavor, more like a cig than any tobacco flavor I've tried since vaping. But Tribeca is excellent from them.
