I absolutely only buy mods with external batteries. I have 2 Aegis Legends and I'm very impressed with them. Would consider the Mini only if it had an external battery. Once I see a mod is powered by and internal battery I quit reading about it and move on.

I share the same perspectives that have been shared above. I prefer only mods that use external 18650's.

I think the complaint about the internal battery is more about it is only 2200 mah and not so much that it is an internal battery. In comparison, in my JAC Vapour DNA 75 watt I use a Samsung 30Q external battery which has 3000 mah. I get nearly all day use with that single battery vaping at 30 watts, so I imagine I'd only get a third less vape time with the 2200 mah battery.

Having said that, I know that there are many vapors old and new who are intimidated with using external batteries, so internal battery mods do have a place within the community.

I have visited the Geekvape home site to learn about the Aegis Mini. It appears it was designed for those Aegis customers looking for a shockproof/dustproof/waterproof regulated mod who prefers an internal battery and prefers USB charging. It has a form factor that appears it would be pocket and hand friendly, two factors that weigh heavily in my mod choices. 80 watts is plenty for most vapers, 2200 mah battery seems kinda iffy in this day and age, but I bet a larger battery translates into a less compact and portable mod. I didn't really look at the tank or coil selection. I know I was a little disappointed with the Aro Mesh tank that came with my Aegis Legend; I wished there was a coil offered that you could vape in the 20 - 30 watt range.

Absolutely agreed. Where I see this coming in handy is yard work. Pocket friendly, light, durable, and waterproof. I use the Legend for that now but it is not something I can stuff in a pocket easily. I keep it near me. I think I would dig a mini version for that purpose.

like mentionned above, i only get mods with external batteries, i've heard aswell that the aegis mini has a 2200 MaH battery which in my use, would probably only last a couple hours compared to the full days i can get out of a single 20700.

Integrated batteries limit the time mods can lasts since when the batteries goes capout so does the mod unfortunately.

I love my two Aegis 100watts. Great for taking out on the boat. I’m on the fence about getting the mini. Smaller size is a definite plus. But, 2200 mAh is just not much battery life. I’m not totally averse to an internal battery, but once that battery is done, your mod is useless. So, price is an issue,as It will have a limited lifespan. Personally, I’m more excited about the ammit mtl rta getting to US stores so I can order a couple. Love the original dialed almost all the way down, so I think this tank will be a winner for me.

I don't mind internal battery mods -- I have a few -- but generally only when they have significant form-factor/size advantage and are relatively simple so you aren't paying a lot for features that get thrown away when the battery dies. (or, there's a really good sale).

For sub-ohm, I don't see folks preferring it over swappable batteries.
I use low power settings and look forward to the mini.

I bought a 100 and with the factory battery I get a month between charges. So the mini could last me a week and easily ride in my safety vest pocket on the construction site.

My 100 is more of a coffee table device where the mini can be an edc vape in my circumstances.

I am an ex smoker who has moved to vaping and am very happy. I am not a hobby vaper who wants fancy large mods & tanks that can vape 200w.

I just want a mod and good size tank that i can use everyday at 40w - 70w. My day consists of a lot of driving and jumping out of car for meetings I don't want to be carrying a large mod and accessory's around with me.

I have been looking for a vape that is compact with long battery life. I love the Aegis Mini for the size and looks I just wish you had made it an external battery then for me it would be the perfect mod.

I do hammer my vapes so the battery is flat quickly and have to plug into charge often. When I am out of the car this can be a problem. If it was external battery i could carry three battery's a bottle of eliquid all day vape problem solved.

For me and others I am sure it is the only down side to this mod.

Geekvape please keep up the good work just build the same but external battery.

Thanks for the feedback!
We also receive similar ideas, and decided to carry out a mod with similar shape of Aegis mini, but with external battery. Stay tuned!:headbang:
