Hello,

It seems that so many people do not understand that electronic cigarettes should be used as cigarettes: it means smoke when you need it and put it back in the drawer.

I see so many people who keep smoking all day long, even at office, and I think that they are so stupid to quit an addiction for a new one, what do you think ?

Thank you for your ideas.

Not true for everybody. Some people are vaping with the goal of quitting smoking. Others are doing it as a hobby. There are tons of posts about this subject. While smoking, people need to have cigarettes. When you're vaping it's much more of a habit rather than an addiction.

I would just like to say it isn't smoking. It is vaping. Two different animals IMHO. Smoking is truly hard on your health. Vaping is truly much, much safer. No tars, no smoke, zillions less chemicals, no carbon monoxide in your bloodstream.

I am all for vaping as much as you would like within the boundaries of common courtesy such as not vaping in a restaurant. I smoked all day long and now I vape all day long.

I think they are smart to give up smoking for vaping.

Alot of different ways to look at this, the first big one that sticks out to me, is that if vaping is a safer alternative to smoking, then the switch was still worthwhile. Another way to look at it is, to each their own, if they are causing no one any harm, if they are happy, and healthier than when they were smoking analogs, I'm not going to waste my time worrying about or judging them. Alot of folks don't take 15 minute cig breaks at work like they used to, they vape a little more often throughout the day instead. When I'm at work, I treat it the same as when I smoked, but when I'm home, I tend to take a puff or two more often throughout the day, rather than stop what im doing to have a vape break. I personally feel healthier, can breath better, and notice a general increase in the quality of life. I enjoy the act of inhaling vapor and exhaling, I love the taste, and I feel I'm better off than the alternative that I know will kill me in the long run. What I need to satisfy my urge to not go back is up to me, and if it keeps me off analogs, more power to me.

I guess the best way for me to respond to that turned out to be, about me. But I guess thats my point. Vaping is a different journey for everyone, it's not for me to decide what I think is stupid, or how someone else should vape. We have all quit the old habit and replaced it with what I believe is a healthier alternative, I can't see any negatives here at all.

I think that is insanely naive.

First, what makes you think the people who vape all day are using liquids with the same nicotine content as a cigarette? Most are using liquids with half or even 1/4 of the nicotine level of a full flavor cigarette.

Second, which are you more worried about? The "addiction" or the actual health of the person? Nicotine by itself is not very harmful in small doses. It increases heart rate and blood pressure, but it is NOT a carcinogen, and it does NOT cause cancer. Tobacco contains hundreds of chemicals and dozens of carcinogens besides nicotine which an ecig user is not getting no matter how much they are vaping.

I have already posted this in a thread but I'd like to share my views here as well as get finished with these five posts.
I feel like realizing you're addicted is almost freeing yourself from the addiction itself, but being able to moderate it for critical times (high stress scenarios) is key to utilizing a highly addictive substance such as nicotine to maintain and increase your livelihood. I always see threads with people saying, "why have 0 nicotine? I would just as soon quit vaping if there was no incentive."(generalization, not a quote, everyone is entitled to an opinion, these are mine) but that makes me think that you haven't overcame your addiction at all by switching to vaping if you still have that 'all or nothing' mentality. Maybe I just look at it in a weird light but I would love to know what everyone's thoughts on the whole addiction aspect. I mainly vape no Nic, but like I said, I keep one readily available for after work and driving, but just physically vaping does it for me when I'm not out and about. Plus vaping is much safer and it can also give someone who quit analogs (my dad 19 years ago) a way to enjoy that cigarette feeling without really having to worry about the negative effects that it may have. Just my 2 cents.

Some vape with Mods and others with cig sized- that's ok
Some vape at 3.3 volts and others vape at 6+ volts- that's ok
Some vape 3 mg and others vape 36 mg- that's ok
Some vape 20 ml per day and others vape 2 mil per day- that's ok
Vaping is a very personal program and all that matters to me is that they're not smoking.
Is continuously vaping bad for our health- we don't know. Is continuously smoking bad for our health- a resounding and huge YES.

I vape more often than I smoked because I can! If I could have smoked inside (never wanted to because of my kids and the smell, burns etc) I probably would have smoked more than the 2 pack a day habit I had. Now that I can vape inside without concern, I do vape whenever I feel like it. No worries here as I know it is better for me and the people I live with. If you have a problem with how others vape then I would offer that is you're problem, not the person vaping all day.

Amateur,
I think your a little confused on the difference between smoking and vaping. Same nic in cig, and same nic in juice does not equal same nic delivery. Automatically one will need to vape more to get the same nic level there body is used to.
Because vaping nic bothers my throat, I use a very low % of nic in my juice! I feel the need to vape a little more then I smoked! more of a maintenance thing.

I think that is insanely naive.

I admit that I do vape a lot more then I smoked. I used to love to smoke and if it wasn't for the price or the bad way they would make me feel I would have smoked a lot more then I did. Now I can have the act that I love without the consequences of cigs.

But I do find that when I cannot vape that I don't have the cravings as I do when I smoked so now I vape cause I want to...not because I have too.

The reason I smoked was for the nicotine in the cigarette, the reason I vape is for the nicotine in the juice. I didnt give up one addiction for another I just gave up the 3999 other chemicals and the smoke.

Same here. I vape about the same amount that I smoked.

I smoked all day anyway before.
I vape the way I smoked. I just dont stink like cigs anymore.
yep, still addicted to nicotine. but I vape 12mg now and do not inhale 4000 different carcinogens with my nic now.
As a bonus, I take in way less nic than the pack to pack and a half of kamels I smoked provided previously.

Why do you want to sell e-cigs, if we are so stupid? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reviews-suppliers-positive/518458-find-serious-dropshipping-supplier-e-cig-pay-paypal.html

That's not a very good attitude for a prospective customer service based business...

First, it's "vape", not "smoke".

Yes, I vape more than I smoked. If I smoked that much I wouldn't be able to breathe.

But I can vape a lot, even constantly, and not be coughing, or get winded, or stink.

I smoked cigarettes because I NEEDED one.

I vape because I really like it.

Thats my feelings exactly! :D
