For any fans of Sublime:

I vape two vapes in the morning
I vape two vapes at night
I vape two vapes in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright...
I vape two vapes in time of peace... and two in time of war...
I vape two vapes before I vape two vapes - and then I vape two more...

:vapor:
(Or Marley fans) probably the same fan base any more..haha

It's good to see that everything is under control, just as my friends say <3

So it means that you all really believe that vapoting (as people who do not want to see the truth) is as healthy as drinking water right ?

Exactly like people were thinking about cigarettes 50 years ago...

Ok... you really must be trolling. You do realize that most people in here give warnings about nicotine..right? We have done research on the chemicals themselves and know where they come from and their side effects. You do realize that we KNOW nicotine is not a %100 safe chemical, and Propylene Glycol is a hyrgoscopic material right? I have looked into the FDA's pages on Propylnene Glycol, looked up nicotine levels, and have come to the conclusion that there will be no adverse side effects of my vaping hobby... because I stay within safe boundry limits!

Even if you believe there may be some negative side effects to vaping, there might be long term side effects of vaping. There are %100 proven facts that regular cigarettes cause cancer, tar in lungs, and the FDA has given and urged people to stop smoking. They have not done so with any of the ingredients of an E-cig.

Why are there attempts to regulate them like regular cigarettes? because the general population does not know the whole story. They see vapor, they think it's smoke. The FDA sees E-cigs as a gateway to regular cigarettes, which is absolutely NOT true to anyone who vapes. They make cigarettes smell bad. But, because they look like a cigarette, produce something that resembles smoke, then it must be a gateway to a regular cigarette... I know that's not true myself.

Are Ecigs %100 safe? no. do I recommend them to a non smoker, no. is it as safe as water? No.. (even though water HAS killed more people than Ecigs). What I do know, is there is no carcinogens in my E-cig... that I KNOW and the FDA has already approved all the chemicals except for nicotine as GRAS and the Niccotine I know what limits I can take, which I am well under.

This is the last of the posts on this thread. I believe you are trolling, and just trying to incite some sort of anger in me. Sorry, I look at you as being uninformed and ignorant to the whole subject of E-cigarettes. I suggest you do some research before posting.

Thanks to vaping I quit smoking. They are NOT the same thing.

DO I vape more? probably but I vape 0 nic 90% of the time and only use nic to help control some medical issues now.

I do NOT know that it is as healthy as drinking water. Then again given the tap water around here it MIGHT be healthier. I DO know that vaping is far less harmful than smoking and that if I did not vape I WOULD smoke eventually.

I am trying very hard OP not to take the condescending tone of your posts in an ugly way. Truly what I do with my life is no ones business but mine.

Hello,

It seems that so many people do not understand that electronic cigarettes should be used as cigarettes: it means smoke when you need it and put it back in the drawer.

I see so many people who keep smoking all day long, even at office, and I think that they are so stupid to quit an addiction for a new one, what do you think ?

Thank you for your ideas.

Do YOU vape or are you here to simply put down folks who do? You seem to be in the attack mode on when folks vape and on the very fact that trust is placed in the safety of vaping in general. NO - it has not been conclusively proven e-cigarettes are 100% SAFE; it has been proven tobacco cigarettes are killers. I smoked them for the better part of EIGHT DECADES and I guarantee I have NONE of the ill feelings with e-cigarettes at ANY NICOTINE LEVEL that I had with real cigarettes. I BELIEVE I absorb far less nicotine and I expel the majority if not all of the VG/PG that is vaporized. If I am wrong - I am still better off. In another thread you put people down for believing e-cigarettes are safe; I trust you have proof they are NOT?

I think coming on a forum of vapers, asking if we "smoke" more than we used to, and calling us stupid if we do is, in itself, stupid. Why does it matter so much to you when it isn't effecting you? Most of us here have made it as much of a hobby as model airplanes and many other things. If that isn't for you, fine, but reserve your judgement for people that are doing harm to others as their hobby or addiction.

Just for the record, I have my mod in hand most of the day. I vape way more than I smoked, and it was a minimum of two packs per day. Then again, maybe I'm just stupid.

I SAY AGAIN: You are implying vaping is not safe; it may well not be. If your stance is that people blindly accept it as being of no harm - please provide proof to substantiate your biased trolling point. I do not believe YOU vape - so why are you even on this forum? People come FOR help and TO help - not to hinder. You appear intent on hindering - nothing else.

PONY UP WITH SOME FACTS OR START SHOVELING YOUR EXCREMENT IN YOUR OWN BACK YARD.

From the way you've posted thus far, I find that hard to believe.....

So it means that you all really believe that vapoting (as people who do not want to see the truth) is as healthy as drinking water right ?

Actually, recent studies have shown that there is an increasing level of various prescription medication in the water we currently drink. So in all reality, vaping is much safer than drinking water.

Also, a baby can drown in less than 2 inches of water. Just food for thought.

Exactly like people were thinking about cigarettes 50 years ago...

Did you know that at one point in time the Bayer corp also made and marketed a now illegal substance? It was marketed as a pain reliever, which it was, but it was also highly addictive. At the time, though, it was thought to be the bees knees.

Yes, people thought smoking was fine 50 years ago. But as technology progressed, we were able to accurately find out what was in tobacco smoke, and identify what was harmful. Vaping, on the other hand, has only been around for approx. 10 years. But because of the aforementioned technology, we can identify what chemicals are harmful. There isn't any, as of yet.

PG is used in a variety of things, ranging from a suspension for injectable medicines, and also pumped into hospital ventilation to sanitize the air.

The flavoring used is also used in baking.

VG is used in many medical applications as well.

Nicotine, in addition to being found in cigarettes and e-liquid, you consume it if you eat tomatoes or potatoes.

So basically, the components in vaping have been in use for quite a while in other capacities with little to no effects.

Class dismissed.

Well it certainly is an odd place to come in trying to addict-shame people. Some folks think they're trying to be helpful but maybe next they should go to the quitnet web sites and lecture to other former smokers about their choice in nicotine replacement, tell them how many patches to use and for how long, how stupid they look chewing the gum, etc. I don't think it would be appreciated there either but the battle against other people's habits must be fought ;)

I quit smoking years ago and missed it very much. Now I can enjoy it once again thanks to e cigs. I have been on the e cigs for about 2 years. I smoke it all day and night 24 mg juice and if I could I would turn up the power to 11 "spinal tap " reference. Not volts or watts.

Not sure if anymof what i have to say has been mentioned or not.....

But here goes,
First off nicotine delivered via vaping is different than in cigarettes.
I still chain smoke a couple ciggies in the morning when i first wake, and when i dont vape for say an hour, i want a cigarette.
So i vape a bit more than i smoked, as my goal is to stay of cigs, as long as i vape regularly im good, but if i go an hour i gotta have that cig.

Also there is no right or wrong way to vape.

Just because you are not open mind ?

No idea who your remark was intended for.

The problem with your posts in this thread is that you are telling people how they should vape and you are not backing it up with facts. A bunch of us have been here longer than you have, have done a fair bit of research and understand the health risks of vaping quite well. I don't believe you know much about that. If you do, tell us what the maximum people should vape per day is and why it is unhealthy to exceed that.

If you do not do this, then I must assume you do not know enough about the subject to defend your position with facts and that you are telling us your opinions. When I post my opinions about things I typically make that clear to people by including 'in my opinion' ('IMO' works also) so there is no misunderstanding about it that may make me look silly.

I have a very open mind. So open it sees manyl the possible SIDE EFFECTS and WARNINGS about "doctor prescribed" stop smoking aids. Here's two of the most popular. I have more - but you won't read 'em, so why waste the bandwidth? I trust you don't smoke, don't vape, don't have a real purpose other than to belittle those of us who finally found the guts to at least try and beat the habit we allowed to control us for months, years and decades? If it kills us - it kills us; we were no doubt headed there anyway. Vaping gives us a chance. It's all any who use these devices really seek; quit pissing on the fire and go find another crusade. I hear religions cause many deaths across the world; perhaps you could go fight for one of your choosing?

Senile Old Man Don......... "Just because I am not open mind".

CHANTIX: Nausea, headache, vomiting, drowsiness, gas, constipation, trouble sleeping, unusual dreams, or changes in taste may occur. Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: burning feeling in feet/toes, unusual pain in the legs when walking. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

BUPROBAN: Tell the doctor immediately if you notice new or worsening depression/other psychiatric conditions, unusual behavior changes (including possible suicidal thoughts/attempts), or other mental/mood changes (including new/worsening anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, irritability, hostile/angry feelings, impulsive actions, severe restlessness, very rapid speech).
