Do you think the new painted color options of the VAMO V2 will be a hit?

Do you think the new painted Vamos are going to sell as well if not better than the stainless, chrome, and black chrome finished Vamo V2? Or do you think the fact that they are painted might be a put off for some? I haven't had a chance to check out the color Vamos first hand so I have to go by what I have seen in photos and such. I guess they aren't horrible looking but it certainly is different. If you haven't had a good look at them check out this Vamo article that has photos of all the colors, and has instructions if you need a reference. But anyway I think there will continue to be a higher demand for the V2 in metal finishes than painted ones. Now if they anodized them that would be entirely different. maybe its the painted buttons that seem odd.

I quite like the look of the red one. But I'm at that stage now where I don't mind if my gear stands out. But I'd have to buy some red boots to go with it (the way my Wife likes to colour co-ordinate). So maybe I'd better stick with my black chrome Vamo for now

Someone with artistic skill should start selling custom hand-painted VAMOs. A hand-painted Mona Lisa on a Vamo would be pretty cool.

Maybe when I get mine I'll have someone paint my portrait on it; that way no one would ever want to steal it.

It is a good idea but I am concerned about durability. If they are anything like the current non-stainless models the will wear easily and chip. They would have to be powder coated to last.

Now that I think of it, I've got people in a body shop or two. Automotive primer, paint and clearcoat on a SS Vamo would be pretty cool. Now to pick a color...

Powder coated matte black with air brushed real flames and it's a go.
