Okay so I don't really like to complain but I ordered ten 2.0 ce4 clearos from a site because they had a sale and I liked the price. First off I ordered some juice from ec blend(very happy) the same day and got both the same day. Both shipped the same way one had to mix my juice and send it across country while the other had to pack some clearos and mail in the same time zone. Little rant but whatever I can get over that. Well I get these open and throw the first one on my evic and it reads 3.6 ohms!!!! I keep checking them and have had read outs from 2.5 to 3.6 ohms with everything in between. Rant done.

So back to the original question what is the volts on a fixed ego. Thats what my wife has and wondering if it can even vale at 3.6 ohms. Also what is the difference in vaping between 3.6 ohms and 2.0? Should I complain and ask them to reship or give me my money back? Thanks for any input guys and vape on.

Hi worthatry,
I believe your batteries are 3.3 or 3.4 volts. Looking at the '' Safe Vaping Power Chart", those ohm readings are too high to produce a strong vapor. I buy 1.8 to 2.4 ohm. They may work ok for you or not. I would call the vendor and ? it.
I would also advise against buying 10 of anything untill you have tryed it first. Good luck.

I'll second that!

Definitely buy a bunch of a product when it's on sale, but only if you've had a positive experience with that particular product, from that particular vendor!

To specifically answer your question: I would put the ball in the vendor's court.

Though most products have a disclaimer noting that a variance of 0.2Ω should be expected, the variance you describe is way too much. That seems more as though you were shipped the wrong product. I would let them know that you ordered them with the intention of using them on multiple devices, some of which simply can't make proper use of them. I would guess they'll find some way to rectify this for you.

Fire them a couple times then recheck the resistance.
Sometimes a new atty/clearo may read high at first but will settle down to the correct resistance after its fired a few times.
If you're continuously rechecking & firing em in between & they're still not reading correct, then yeah, they may be wonky.

I guess this is where I messed up. I have had the CE4s before but not from this vendor. I tried one that was reading 2.6 Ohms on the Ego and it wouldn't vape at all. Put in on my Evic around 6 Watts and the coils actually glowed through the rubber piece. Looked like it does when I dry burn one after cleaning. Put it on an Ego twist and it would vape even at 3 volts but tasted burnt even that low. Put back on Ego still nothing. I think these are just whacked out. This is my first bad experience so I wasn't sure how to handle so I came on here of course lol. I found the deal and vendor on here so I hope it's reputable. I guess I will email them and find out what they can do for me I just of course don't want to test each one because wasting juice. Thanks for your help guys.
