Metstoo;1107166 Questions: Juliet said "It worked!" before she died and now they are showing how the world went on as if the plane never crashed.... I have NO idea where THAT's gonna lead! Jack has a son??? Where's Charlie?? LOST is good stuff! :)[/QUOTE said:
That is what Juliet said, but it is not what would have happened if the plance never crashed. Jack still has the apendix scar from when Juliet operated on him, but can't recall how he got it. So it has to be some alternate reality thing.

I think both the actress who played Juliet and the actor that played Charlie are regulars on some other TV show so they are not availabe for Lost, except very small walkons, like Charlie getting taken off the plane in handcuffs and Juliet dieing.

Well, there is no doubt now that Flocke is not John Locke.

Claire had her opportunity to attack Kate in the hole they were in and Nothing!

According to the man in black nothing changes, just distruction and chaos. But according to Jacob it only ends once and everything up to that is progress. So is what is happening on the Island and with the people that landed in LA distruction and chaos or progress?

The ABC web site shows a picture of the cast posed like The Last Supper with Locke in the Jesus position and Sayid in Judas's place. Eeeeenterestink! Could be a clue.

I realize that the "if the plane had never crashed" scenarios are playing with us. Jack had an appendix scar but his mom 'remembered' it from his childhood. All of them have strange flashes to the people on the island but they have no connection. It's almost like an alternate reality where they sorta touched but didn't. Very quantum! I wonder what happens to Jin in the alt reality after Sayid finds him in the freezer!

I thought the promo said there were 10 more episodes left and then the finale?? Did they say 2 or 10??

Yeah, I think it's an alternate reality. I think I read somewhere that Jacob and Flocke (fake Locke) answer to yet another authority, so who the hell is that? God, the devil, the universe? And where were Jack and Hurley this episode? Still at the lighthouse? Actually, he was in Sayid's "alternate reality" briefly when he went to the hospital with Nadia.

think i already mentioned my theory, but the alternate reality is NOT what would happen if the pane hadnt crashed rather what would happen if Jacob never met them. as said Jacob steered them in the right direction to get them to the island. a butterfly effect if you will, just getting a candy bar for jack was enough to spawn events that would get him there.

maybe "island" jack doesnt even have a son, huh? ah HA!

Why would she want Ben? Why!!!!!??????????

I just loved the twist on that god-awful spider bite episode with the 8 million dollars worth of diamonds.

Would Jack's bet be his first act of true faith and first step away from just science.

Who would you want to accept the new roles of good guy and bad guy on the island?

Replacing Jacob ?
Jack
Hurley
Kate
Sun
Jin
Replacing Evil guy
Ben
Swayer
evil guy/Flocke not getting replaced
Claire
Saied
Whitmore

Don't know if anyone else noticed or remember but this is what I remember... Ok Richard said that you cannot kill yourself if you are touched by Jacob.... throughout everyones life, Jack, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid, Kate, Locke, Sun, and Jin they have all been touched by Jacob, actual contact. So I'm going to make the assumption that if they have all been touched by Jacob, none of them can kill themselves, which would explain why the dynamite didn't go off when Jack was sitting there with Richard. Might explain why none of them ever had dynamite just blow up on them even though it's wicked unstable.
Also when Locke attempted or was about to attempt to hang himself and Ben talked him out of it, then killed him... did Ben know? Was been secretly working for the dark, or being misled by him now and then?
Anyway, I believe that all these people have been touched by Jacob so they have all been given this "gift" by him.

I can't wait to get an answer to what exactly the big plan was that Jacob had, and is Ilana going to bring back Jacob or finish Jacobs bidding? Time will tell....

Excellent point! I didn't put that Jacob's touch thing together. Great catch!
