I use them everyday! Whether in my Billet Box or my Provari with my ibTanked. I find there is no better Tootle Puffer vape than a Carto tank!

Never had the tight draw problem, but for those that have- has anyone tried to drill out the airholes? Seems to be the thing to do on some clearos and attys. Why not a carto??

Maybe it's the people that use the flared ego-cover supports?? They'll certainly cut off airflow.

Those have never bothered my airflow at all. The only problem with airflow I've ever had with a cartotank was putting it on a Vamo V2 -- totally flat top, restricts airflow a lot. If I put my cartotank on a vv3 with a flared cone, lots of air!

Drilling out a carto is nigh-on impossible. They're just too complicated and fragile. One day i will master it though!
Back to the subject of airflow, now i've thought about it it's not so much the restricted flow, it's the fact that i now take 2-3 second inhales whereas with a cartotank it was upwards of 6-7 second draws. I guess i'm just too busy now to spend that sort of time getting my nicotine fix. Life's too short o_O

When I use carto tanks I usually use boge 2 hole carto's, I drill 1 or 2 smaller holes between & slightly below the stock juice flow holes and enlarge one air hole. Most times I use a tiny tool with a slight hook on the end to remove a tiny bit of wicking material to improve juice flow.
Ive experimented with enlarging both air holes & drilling 1 - 2 additional air holes.

Just like most other delivery devices, modifications that suite your individual wants/needs can make a huge difference.

What *might* be possible is getting one of those carto-punch tools, and punching additional holes in the carto itself -- I dunno if that would work, it might flood the carto, but just a thought. Might be a good thing to do with thick high-VG juices.

One step ahead of me, have you tried different drip tips also? I've only recently noticed that mine differ greatly. Chuff??

Punching additional or larger holes in the cartomizer will increase the juice flow, not the airflow.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case; I think I've seen that technique advised for really thick juices that don't flow well with just 2 small holes in the carto.

As with many things in the vaping world you just have to try it and see how it works out. worst case you blew a carto.
