Does anyone still use carto tanks?

What an excellent question! ;)

As good a vape as cartotanks may be (and they are), I'm so uncool I still use regular standard Boges on their own, most of the time, with any mod whatsoever.

Reasons? They definitely work and are quite ok for someone like me who likes to switch flavours. A good carto provides a great flavour, a nice TH, nice vapour and no dry hits ever unless one's a dummy. It's cheap and it's easy (unless one's too lazy to keep them filled).

EDIT: Regarding dud cartos, I must admit I've been so unlucky as to have like three in a row on occasion. But most are fine.

I have been so close many times to pulling the trigger on a Sophia, but like you the initial cost has put me off.

I won't spend more than $50 for a MOD... and the Sophia ATOMIZER is $85? That doesn't just put me off, it makes the Sophia completely unreachable for MY budget. That's why I was asking about clones, but everyone is too "oh, the authentics are too perfect, clones aren't"... Nothing is perfect if you can't afford to buy it... EVER.

Mine is a Chevy budget, not BMW...

However when I googled the Sophia just now, I did get some results for clones, so I'm going to check that out.

This just makes me sad for IBTanked. I really like them and the quality of their tanks. But I too found that using the carto got a bit cumbersome. I like building my stuff. It opens up my budget for more juice. That is about all i buy now a days...
Yeah, I really like OCD and his products. I probably still have 20 IBTanked cartotanks stored away. I never broke a one of them and a few took some serious falls onto the driveway or falling off a locker room bench.

I actually managed to break my lone Phiniac tank. :( In all fairness to Phiniac, I wasn't using their caps on that tank. It's the tank on the right below:
