I work in very close proximity to a smoker. He's at my desk to discuss something, or I'm at his several times a day. It's all I can do to put my hand over my nose and mouth to keep from smelling his stench.

He's also one of my best friends :) He is very old school tho, and has no desire to try vaping. Even tho I have given him many opportunities to try.

Heck no, I aint gonna be that stinky person again... and I assure you, I was a stinky smoker, just like he currently is.

No. I am a law abiding citizen.....until now.

I am currently slowly building up my supplies (still hoping I will never have to use them). I will seek out the black market, that will come out of this mess, if need be.

Jman, I commend you for always sticking to your guns. We need more of this regardless of whether or not anyone is a dual user.

Dual use was totally exploited by the FDA. They did not take into consideration that a dual user smokes magnitudes less.

Shame on the government for throwing them under the bus harder than they threw those of us that vape only.

Think about it. We like being smoke free and will do what we can to not smoke again. Dual users WILL go back to smoking full time.

Lets not give up....our "elected" representatives need to know our feelings constantly and lets hope a new President in 2017 will listen.... We need to roll out Vaping Lives Matter. I will not support big tobacco or the lobbying groups...I enjoy Vaping and as such we all should be allowed to enjoy it.

I bummed a cig off a coworker a few weeks ago for a test. After the first puff I regretted it because I had to smoke the whole thing to be polite. I was amazed how bad it tasted.

Why should we stop vaping? Stockpiling is cheap and easy. Startingn from scratch a 10 year supply of the vape specific items I need is about $500. Now that the FDA has showed their intentions may be I'll double up. Studying the logistics of doing that are interesting to me, part of the hobby.

Nope. I've spent the last few years becoming as self sufficient as possible. It's one reason I prefer only mechanical mods. I have a shelf full of mods, with spare parts for all, a freezer full of nic, and have made all my own juice for nearly the past 5 years. I haven't bought anything in a B&M in ages, other than maybe a drip tip, here and there. The only stuff I need to buy occasionally are things that are multi purpose, like wire, batteries, and cotton.
The FDA can kiss my .....

lol... going to become a future blackmarket profiteer?? ;)

Potentially, but I don't plan on kicking nicotine anytime soon and I want my friends that vape to have a supply. Plus nicotine can keep for quite a while at 30 F. I'd rather have too much nicotine than not enough, if the regulations somehow get reverted 10 years from now I'll sell it to shops. This is after we know for certain that the regulations are staying in.

Nope. No matter what these ... hat at the FDA tries to pull off I will find a way to vape. Even if it means no nic juice (which i use 1.5mg and 3mg right now anyway). It's more of the actual habit of vaping/pretending to smoke then addiction. I'll just mix up my own no nic juices and vape away and if they kill off all the devices guess ill be shopping black market unregulated lol.

Although I'll defend your (or anyone else's) right to smoke, I'm somewhat annoyed that you're one of the supposed 70% of vapers that Zeller used to advance the claim that vaping is "ineffective".

Oh, I hear you. But I made it a point to mention this in my comments to the FDA and that it wasn't addressed (even a little bit) in the way I brought up, on Final Rule doesn't sit well with me. It also is clear to us, I think, that the 70% could easily be a lot of people like me who mostly vape, have greatly reduced smoking usage, but are being treated as 'having the inherent problem that comes with smoking at all.'

Now that pendulum appears to be swinging the way of anti-vaping, I'm thinking that's going to occur with vaping. That vaping at all will be considered an inherent problem. So, the people that vape say for 30 days to quit smoking and then quit vaping (within 30 days) will be probably championed. And the people who vape nic during transition to less/non-smoking but go down to zero nic will be treated as having an inherent problem. All other vapers will likely be seen as, what the heck is wrong with you people that you need to vape (at all)?

If vaping and smoking are nothing like each other, which I find a bit disingenuous, but also think the distinctions are always good to make note of, I don't see why vapers would be troubled by a person that smokes in moderation, other than it does allow opposition to make ridiculous points like this one, that I, and others like me, still have an inherent problem when it comes to smoking (at all).

Nope, I have two years to stockpile nicotine. I'll have 14 gallons of 100 mg by the time this stuff gets banned. So I'll be good on nicotine for the next 30 years or so ;)
Just curious, how long can you store nicotine? I'm thinking about hoarding a half a truckload, but the last time I bought a big jug, it turned very yellow after a year or two. Stills vapes good though.

You can get nic base from companies that are ready to pop into your freezer. I'm hearing that it can be stored for years that way. Check out the DIY Section for more information. DIY E-Liquid

lets hope a new President in 2017 will listen....
In this Presidential contest, there are no winners, only losers. If Clinton wins, big tobacco knows they only have to line her pockets to keep vaping in their court. If Trump wins...we may get vaping back but we'll need to wear lead lined shorts because you know some crazy turd of bass will try to nuke us due to his ego.

Nope! Personally, I'll never go back to smoking. It's not even an option to me! I've been steadily stockpiling anything (that won't still be readily available) that I'll need to continue vaping, for quite a few years ahead!

Have enough nic already stored for at least 7 years worth of juice, at my 6mg nic level and rate I use it. It'll obviously last even longer if I go lower in nic mg. Going to also order more 100mg/mL that comes in vaccuum-sealed bottles with the septum at the top. You use a Luer Lock syringe to draw out whatever amount you want...right through the septum...and it totally reseals itself! The remaining nic in the bottle stays oxygen free and still vaccuum sealed! Even that nic will still only cost me $.38/50mL bottle of juice I make, at my current 6mg nic. Can't beat that with a stick!

Just curious, how long can you store nicotine? ...

That Question is Hard to Answer.

Because the Commonly Excepted time periods are about as long as Vaping has been somewhat Mainstream.

PG Nicotine Base (in a Tightly Seal Glass Container) has a Very Long "Shelf Life" if stored in a Freezer.
