I can confirm vape detectors are definitely real. The Forensics Detectors Vape Detector uses laser technology that's way more sensitive than regular smoke detectors. Normal smoke alarms are designed for house fires, not the tiny particles from vaping. That's why schools need these specialized units.
And those old tricks like shower caps that worked with traditional detectors? They don't fool these new sensors - they detect changes in air composition even when you can't see the vapor.
Technology's come a long way since we were catching kids smoking behind the gym!
