First of all, I completely and utterly agree with the "It's not smoking" sentiment. I keep telling people not to buy a white-and-red one in the beginning (and later on only if they like the colours or want to annoy anti-smokers) for the same reason.
And it would be really helpfull if PVs were not being marketed as "another type of cigarettes", too.

But I am not all that fond of this "ready to quit" thing. Because quite a few vapers never wanted to quit, and did anyway - accidentally. I'd have never even started to vape if somebody would have mentioned "quitting analogs" to me. And yet, within two days, I was analog-free.
Plus, it puts too much pressure on the newbies, even those who want to quit. "Problems? Well, you're not ready to quit, so it's all your own fault!" That's at least where that attitude often ends. Obviously, not good. So probably better we don't even start with it.

I like a good tobacco flavor that tastes like a cigarette. It does not make me want to go back to smoking cigarettes. However, after my TV tobacco juice sat for a couple of weeks, it has become a wonderful juice that I thoroughly enjoy.

It sounds like TV is just against a cigarette flavored juice as a matter of principle. I can not argue with a man standing by his convictions. Yet, I also know that people are going to seek out the flavor that suits their own personal need or desire. I will continue to enjoy TV's tobacco juice, as well all of their other wonderful flavors, but I will also continue vaping cigarette tasting tobacco flavors as well. I imagine that most people will do the same (if they like cigarette flavored juice). While I respect TV's convictions, they have absolutely no bearing on how I will choose to vape.

But there is liquid that is exactly like a cigarette

liquidAss.jpg

:D

Tried liquidass, but it was too much like Benson and Hedges, When I'm after Camel. Now if only someone would produce LiquidCamelAss, then that would really take me to the Oasis of vaping delights.
Been vaping over a yr and would still love someone to come up with an analog flavor. Yep I am sick in the head lol. Other than that tastyvapor Tobacco, certainly tastes like I am chewing baccy, and definitely works better with a beer. A bitter coffee flavor works for me in the morning, and chocolate as a just before bed. Still searching for a vendor that does a kick ... espresso flavor though.

That's been my thing.. wanting the tobacco to taste like the cigg smells. That sweet smell was always my fave. Of course I smoked menthols to hide the awful taste of burning cigg.. I'm off to my parents to taste the tobacco flavor from TV. Also want to add that TV's liquids are the only ones I can vape.. All the others seem to make my throat swell and burn. I'd be sad except TV's flavors are soo good!

This thread is enlightening, especially when I consider my own e-cig history. I always thought I was searching for a Menthol/Tobacco mix to replace my analogs, but now I think I've been wrong all along.

First purchase came with some "Menthol". Not necessarily like a good 'ole Newport (which was what I was expecting) but moreso just menthol (can't recall a hint of tobacco in there actually), and pretty strong menthol at that. My next purchase included some Red Bull, which I liked by itself, and ended up mixing with the menthol as a daily vape. Ran out of that, bought a competitor's "Nu-Port", and hated it since the first vape. Still do. Have been cheating analogs due to the hate.

So, my searching for a tobacco/menthol mix may really be me needing to re-up on a menthol/red bull mix that actually made me quit analogs all together for at least three weeks until I ran out.

Hmm....

I am looking for a tobacco flavor like when you draw on an analog before you strike a match to it. I am not looking for a "burning cigarette" flavor.I want the taste of the tobacco before it is lit. If any of you understand what I am talking about and are looking for the same and have found it tell me where I can get it. I am sure all of former smokers have taken the first draw before you lit up. Once lit that flavor is gone.

You might be the only one :)

I did try chewing them a couple of times when I didn't have a light...

I would always draw on the cig before I lit it in order to taste the tobacco. I liked the tobacco taste but like I said once it was lit good by tobacco flavor. Any way that is the flavor I am looking,

Look no further, the before lit flavor is exactly what TV created in their Tobacco flavor. That is what this whole debate is about. TV does not want to create the burning tobacco flavor, but has created the unlit tobacco flavor.

It is top notch quality, but might need to sit for a week or two for the flavor to mature. I love this juice.

I agree completely with Mr. Tastyvapor. I think the thing about constantly thriving for something that tastes like an analog is that it's never going to happen. I've only tried a couple so far, but as far as tobacco flavors go they generally seem to taste like what unburned tobacco smells like to me.
If you don't accept that it's not going to taste like an analog then you're going to be set on that analog flavor and when you don't find it you're going to get discouraged. So I think that's kinda what Mr. Tastyvapor is trying to get at. If all you do is buy a bunch of tobacco flavors and you're not satisfied with any of them, and you're not open to trying other flavors, then you're going to go back to analogs. Simple as that.

I realized this about 3 days into vaping. If I hadn't, I believe I'd be smoking again. When I realized that tobacco flavors didn't taste like analogs, I realized that I had to find a flavor, any flavor that I like. And don't get me wrong, I like some of the tobacco flavors, some that are kinda sweet and nutty, yum, but expecting it to taste like an analog is setting yourself up for pv failure.

TV tobacco, based on extraction from real tobacco is a very good approach. I made my own cigarettes four four years with a Topomatic and D&R tobaccos. So, I have a well developed taste for it. Capturing the aroma of unburned tobacco as opposed to trying to capture the flavor of combustion does seem smarter. I mix TV's, ordered mostly PG, with some other thicker VG stuff from other places, and it really adds authenticity to any "blend."

I would definitely try the original tobacco flavor with no more than 10% glycerine added to it. I am going to order two bottles right now. One of the reasons I like the subtlety of quality tobacco flavors is that they don't occupy the atomizer until the end of time. When you start mixing wild flavors, even if you clean out the atomizer with good vodka, it starts tasting really weird. It's like you need to dedicate one per flavor, or give up and go to blank cartomizers. There is also the thought that associating nicotine with food flavors might create a Pavlovian response and make you crave more nicotine when you eat bananas foster.
