First of all, I completely and utterly agree with the "It's not smoking" sentiment. I keep telling people not to buy a white-and-red one in the beginning (and later on only if they like the colours or want to annoy anti-smokers) for the same reason.
And it would be really helpfull if PVs were not being marketed as "another type of cigarettes", too.
But I am not all that fond of this "ready to quit" thing. Because quite a few vapers never wanted to quit, and did anyway - accidentally. I'd have never even started to vape if somebody would have mentioned "quitting analogs" to me. And yet, within two days, I was analog-free.
Plus, it puts too much pressure on the newbies, even those who want to quit. "Problems? Well, you're not ready to quit, so it's all your own fault!" That's at least where that attitude often ends. Obviously, not good. So probably better we don't even start with it.
