CASAA will try to assist any smokeless/e-cigarette users worldwide, but we can't do anything, anywhere without member participation. The more active, Canadian CASAA members and volunteers we have, the more effective we can be there!

So, yes, but we'll need a lot more Canadian members and Regional Reps before we can become more active in Canada.

I would highly recommend that Canadians join CASAA and start participating in the member meetings.
If we don't have Canadian members, we can't have a CASAA presence in Canada!

Join CASAA at casaa.org, then email Ron at board@casaa.org to let him know you want to attend the online member meetings. we also need Regional Representatives in Canada. You would serve as CASAA's eyes & ears in Canada and be a contact in case of proposed legislation. You would also be the base membership once CASAA gets the local chapters up and running.

This goes for anyone, anywhere, interested in having local CASAA chapters.

So please join!

I think we in Canada are going to need all the help we can get. I've joined up and just want to confirm: membership fees are basically in a "donate what you can" format, is that right? I am so glad that we can look to CASAA for some guidance. I'm gonna try to drum up some members. I think a lot of us thought that we wouldn't be eligible to form a chapter so maybe that's why we haven't seen it as a possible source of support.

There are currently no membership fees to join CASAA.

Just to be clear - we don't have any organized "chapters" yet - this is something we are hoping to do on a state and international level someday. Eventually, as we grow and get more funding and membership, we'll be able to form local CASAA chapters with their own regional directors. But right now, all regions fall under one chapter with Regional Representatives and local members.

So, currently, if you join CASAA you ARE automatically your "chapter" in your area. The more people in your area who join CASAA, the bigger your "chapter" is! :)
