Does this seem right to you?

It depends indeed on the personal objectives. If you want to vape then more power to you. But just in case one day you get bored with it and want to quit, you now know a trick.
If I want to quit vaping I can just quit...I have gone a week without with no problem and didn't even think of it...I just decided to start again because I enjoyed it and had already spent around $300 in crap for it lol

Are you referring to those who blow clouds at the cereal Isle at the Walmart, or those who use cartoon characters and silly names on their e-liquid bottles? Perhaps those who decide to vape because blowing clouds is cool and blow themselves up, showing how dangerous vaping can be?

It's akin to tourists I see in Prague who smoke other stuff openly in the street from large glass pipes and wonder why they are getting 'harassed' by the police...
I'm guessing you didn't see the picture I posted of the lady that burned the skin off her face lighting her cigarette with a Bic lighter.

More incidents of these kinds can be found than the ridiculous garbage you're holding onto since the advent of vaping.

when you started smoking did you choose a flavor before having your first
cigarette? what flavor did you start vaping with?
i'd venture to say if there was nothing but menthol or regular
e-juice flavors available it would be hard to predict what
the retention rate would be.
my point is its not the flavors that initiates the activity.
the activity leads to the flavors and as such should be of
no concerns in terms of regulation. the same hold true
for advertising to a certain extent.vendors are not placing
ads on Saturday morning cartoon shows.there isn't a free
starter kit in a happy meal. no free brightly colored drip
tips in the cereal boxes in the isle at Walmart.
thats advertising.
a flavor is not defacto advertising to children in and of
itself.thats what the ANTZ mean by advertising to children.

mike
When I started smoking it was Newport 100's then progressed to stronger and stronger menthol...when I started vaping I started with 24mg watermelon dream by mr-e-liquid then cutwood boss reserve then white label juice co 112 then strawberry custard...I tried DIY for a week then said scree it and started diluting my favorite juices with straight VG. And I wasn't saying the flavor was what started it but once you start you really want flavors that are to your liking

I just wonder with all the talk about Adolescent e-Cigarette use in the Media and the Backlash/Firestorm that it has Created, if some might find Images of what Appears to be an Adolescent Girl on a Bottle of e-Liquid somewhat Questionable?
Holding a bloody chainsaw?

Nope.

I'd say that farmer taught his daughter good work ethics at the right age.

No. That never happened. An older friend who smokes asked if I would like to try one and I did. No debate as to whether or not I would like to start smoking. I was hooked after one...

Sounds like you did wake up that morning and later you did decide that you would like to smoke.

It's somewhat pointless to argue with stevegoalpostsmoveunusually, words seem to have different meanings to him, like when someone asks if you would like a smoke and you say yes, that's not a decision.

Well it matters in the sense that it was his own decision to light one. Can't blame cartoons on the package.
That's how this one started? We have that being used against us and yet we have some of us using the same asinine argument? God help us all

It looks so much more asinine to me since I perfectly remember how I decided to vape, and the graphics on the bottles were my least concern.

As for "some of us", when I see such arguments I get the suspicion that it's actually "some of them" on the other side.

Lol I ripped the labels off because I wanted to see exactly how much liquid I had...I kept a little bit on and that's only the flavor and nic level...needless to say I hardly had a label left so I didn't give a damn...I started vaping to quit smoking and admittedly because I wanted to join the ranks of cloud chasers lol

But didn't you know that it can never be your own fault? It's always somebody else's fault...no exceptions

Just put your vape **** where the kids can't get to it. Do you keep your alcohol and firearms in places that are accessible to children?

I agree with you 110%, but sadly, these things are left out in the open quite frequently, especially if both are involved. Not making a come-back statement, but I've witnessed enough (non suicidal) self-inflicted gunshot wounds to know, no, they're not kept safely hidden away. Both booze and guns. I grew up in the deep south, though, so that may have something to do with it.

Let me get this right...

You woke up that morning...

Day went on...

Friend offered a cig...

You took it (making that decision as did the rest of us)...

And you were instantly hooked. [emoji38] (wrong substance, BTW :glare:)

Humor me. This is super amusing.
