It has for me-ish, I [felt like I] had to smoke while I was drinking last weekend, but next time I'm gonna stick with it. On a normal day though, I haven't had a craving, no stereotypical bad mood or substantial weight gain. For me, it was the perfect cure, although results differ from person to person, the best advice I feel anyone could give is to give it a shot! I won't say you won't be unsatisfied, my wife was, greatly. Fortunately she's being strong and staying away from smoking, kinda sucks that she didn't pick up on vaping like I did though, it would be cool to share this experience with the woman I love. What ever you do, I wish you the best of luck!

Ah....NOW the real question is........did you save any money?

It almost doesn't get more inexpensive than what I was paying for analogs. I was paying roughly $3.50/pack. I know some people along the coasts were paying close to $8, so the savings for me weren't as heavy as for someone who pays, on average, twice what I did.

I was a pack a smoker a day, at 3.50/pack over an average of 29 days, comes to $101.50.

I spent $30 originally on my KR808D1, a batch of refill cartomizers at $20. My first kit cost me a total of $50.

I upgraded shortly after to the Riva 510 SE, setting me back $43 something, with some clearomizers at $7/5pk.

It's taken some time for me (and unlimited amounts of research) to find something I like, but now that I've settled into my Riva all I have to buy are consumables (cartos and juice), the occasional battery every once in a while is definitely offset by the savings.

I smoked for a week or so. Then I got a dual coil cartomizer to go on my kGo 1100mAh. Never smoked another. After a few weeks, I tried lighting one for my wife. That was nasty. Not bad going in, but like licking an ashtray on exhale.

Its surprizing how easy it is to be around other smokers. My wife still smokes, and it really doesn't bother me. I am not like, "Get that nasty thing away from me." or sending her outside. It really doesn't make me want one, and it isn't nasty either. I don't ever see myself picking back up the habit. I don't really see myself vaping in ten years, but for now, it is awesome.

*fires up some French Toast* Yep, smoking is so yesterday.

No... I absolutely believe it can be done.... just hasnt worked for me that way yet.... I spent a quarter gabillion dollars on my first mall kit ( I chalk that one up to a one time "quit smoking fee though }:)> )then I too got a Riva 510 SE.... then (and still) I went all ape.... buyin a buncha juice and a few other things.... I smoked close to two packs a day at $7 a pop and I havent broke even yet ( thats not including the "one time fee" noted above).... I guess Im not to far out though... If I could just quit samplin juices Id be just fine.... Ill settle down in a little bit though.

Hi,
At first i was just interested to vape just because it's a gadget thingy, and I've heard that ecig got many interesting flavor. I'm not planning to stop smoking. My first kit was an e-health ecig. Then a 'friend' of my friend offered me a Riva 510 kit for US $110! I was like 'wow! it was awesome!' the vapor was thick & i don't have to charge it every 30 minutes. After I got my Riva & get some good e-liquids, i find myself stop reaching those stinky coffin nails. And it was almost a year ago. This July 24 is my first vaping anniversary. Last month I was curious about the new 'Marlboro Light Gold', so I bought a pack to try it. And guess what... I can't stop gagging from the first puff, and i throw it after the third puff. I can't believe I was sucking those nasties for 19 years. So the answer is Yes! But if you ask about saving money, I think i'm not saving any money by vaping. Here in Indonesia, a pack of marlboro cost me US $1.5, while my provari cost me $220 (with extended cup & battery), a pack of dual coil cartos are $15 (5 pcs, shipping cost not included), 3 oz of TV Butter Rum cost me about $26 (shipping not included). So, my answer is No. This is a hobby, and it's an expensive one.

I smoked 2 packs a day , for near 40 years , and it took almost two weeks , to stop the analogs. It was The day I replaced my cheapo e-cig , for an Ego-t . And I haven't wanted one since . So to put it bluntly . Yes . But if you just cut down , at first , you have still made progress . Just keep at it , and it will get better .

Oh no man. The infamous mall kit.

Funny story, I almost got conned into one. They wanted $100 and I was DOWN!

But...

My gf was with me..

And she was, for a moment in time, the logical one of us two and told me I should research it a little more.

And I did but I still didn't make the right choice the first go. It got me off cigs though. I'm in the same juice boat you are. I still haven't found my all day vape. The honeysuckle from Joogler's is soooo close.

I to am hoping this to be true...still waiting for my first vape to get delivered. I smoke a lot in a social setting so hopefully this will keep me away from them analogs. Only time will tell
I like the social aspect of vaping better then I ever did smoking. I've made so many new friends from everyone asking questions lol.
