oops! Wrong thread.
Yes i'm always waiting to be honest as new things come out all the time so I think you quickly learn that almost any purchase will be bettered quite quickly.Knowing the Yihi and "upgraded" build materials (no idea what that means) is coming up is making me wait. If it's worth the difference I'll go with that. If not the regular dual will still be around 6 weeks from now.
Thanks, I think I'll wait as well. At the wattages I vape at, a dual battery isn't giving me much advantage over a 40T, or a Sanyo 20700B.Knowing the Yihi and "upgraded" build materials (no idea what that means) is coming up is making me wait. If it's worth the difference I'll go with that. If not the regular dual will still be around 6 weeks from now.
Drop rda is my favorite rda, designed by Brian. I have 3. I won't bother putting the recurve on it because I favor the drop. I use the hell out of my single topside and despite my issues with it it keeps on kicking so all is good if i maintain the 510.What happens when you put the Recurve on the Topside in place of the Drop? Can't rule the problem must be the mod when you only have it with one rda? If you swap and then the Drop is dry on the Squeeze and the Recurve wet you can point more definitively at the mod.
I was coming back to here to check for a possible update as well.No news on the "premium" dual yet? Getting kinda tired on the wait, although the Drone remains up in the air so no need for a decision yet.
There are plenty of Youtube videos which shows how to get zero ramp up time with a decent regulated mod. And there are regulated squonkers that have have their boards coated to protect them against damage from juice. I've even seen some use silicone sealant so juice can't even get to it (Therion BF comes to mind). And some even go further and use water proof switches like DNA boards does.I find that mechs have less ramp up time. I find that my cheap hugos hit pretty good for me and no board to die when exposed to liquid, as tends to happen.
Did they address the leaking and the door issues that some have reported with the Topside OG?I'm not eyeing the Drone yet, would kind of prefer the Topside Dual due to the more solid construction.
I have six spare Topside bottles myself. What do you use your spares for? Mine just sits in their boxes. I suppose the idea is to put different flavor juices in each and then switch them out when you want. Although that could get messy. As that tube leaks juice like a leaky faucet.I've already got a number of spares for the Topside.
Strange, most people complain just the opposite and that the Topside uses proprietary Dovpo bottles while the Drone can use standard off of the shelf bottles. With the Drone, I'll have to source replacement bottles for it
What? The Drone was just released and there are battery door concerns already? So what did you hear? Anybody who reported problems yet?and still not convinced of the long term durability of the battery door.
I never needed Replay myself yet. But I have used it so I have experience with it and so I can help others who has questions about it. Although I can see it handy for those who want to use TC without the fuss. And for those who use multiple wire types together or when using an unknown wire type. Also handy for throwing a hot TC coil on too, so you don't have to wait to let it cool down first.I still haven't even used Replay on any of my 75c or 250c chipped mods,
I didn't have problems either with mine (except slightly too full once). But some had leaking around the outside side of the 510. You would think maybe it is just them over squonking or something. But then some of them had multiple Topsides and only certain individual Topsides would do it and others not. After a couple weeks with 2 Topside Duals, the only time I had any liquid escape any orifice was the one time I over filled a little. Even then, it was a very minor leak.
Yes vaping your RDA dry works well with your average squonker. As the bottle tube is right below the 510 and super close to the RDA. But the Topside doesn't work this way. As the juice is trapped inside of that long crossover piece and doesn't come out with the bottle like a regular squonker. As the juice just pools there until you remove the bottle and then all of that juice is free to unload. Kind of like turning off your garden hose from the spicket and then moving your hose and water still runs out of it.I switch bottles in one of them and no juice comes out when I pull the bottle carrier. If yours "leaks like a faucet" when you pull out the bottle, I'd simply suggest vaping your atty fairly dry and not squonking before you pull the bottle. That little bit of advice has nothing to do with the Topside....it's pretty standard practice with any squonker.
